how long did you turn the motor over? i had to crank mine for a little while. and spark plug probably didnt spark because it grounds through the engine block...
Maybe 20 or 30 seconds at most. I did that a couple times. When I pulled the spark plug, I held it close to a ground bolt to see if I could see a spark.how long did you turn the motor over? i had to crank mine for a little while. and spark plug probably didnt spark because it grounds through the engine block...
Do you have at least 3 really good ground connections, i remember you painted the block and tranny, are they for sure making good contact?!Maybe 20 or 30 seconds at most. I did that a couple times. When I pulled the spark plug, I held it close to a ground bolt to see if I could see a spark.
I cleaned all the grounds and there still is no spark, I'm going to try some other things to see what the problem is. Any suggestions?Do you have at least 3 really good ground connections, i remember you painted the block and tranny, are they for sure making good contact?!
I wasn't sure about the distributor, so I went and got a new, non-OEM one, put it on and still no spark...Is ignition control module good?

There is a Dyno Day coming up at a local shop where you get 3 pulls for $40 bucks. No tuning, but I can at least see what its making. Other than that, I plan to keep it mostly stock, maybe change out the header and the intake while I work on bringing the rest of the car up to my standards.Ever planning on getting some baseline numbers or tuning it?
