thats what its built to do, its not a gas sipping econo box, its a f***ing race car,
:rolf: WORD!

Nobody's saying he CAN'T do it, it's the concept. Somebody put a lot of hard work into that car, and he bought it with the intent to simply tear it apart for a couple bucks. I don't know about anyone else in here, but I like to do positive things to earn money, not tear apart someone's hard work.
yea, but that's just your personal opinion. its not like he's selling drugs or smuggles Mexicans, or runs some sort of sex trafficking ring.

I would tare anything apart, specially if it benfited ME. Anything that i have bought that is. I would not tare my neighbor's house apart.

Don't givea f*** who or what built it or what work they put into or how much blood they shed. lol you think people are going to cry ME a river? lol come on man.

with that being said, i would just sell the whole car as whole. don't have the time to take every last little part out and have to sell one by one, kidding me man., lol I clearly understand your point of view tho man. That's why i would just sell it as whole, to someone that can appreciate the car. Then i would make sure to never make such bad purchase. Because my opinion is that, that was a bad purchase.

You buy an EM1 with a tacky body kit, you leave it on bc someone put hard work into putting it on? What if someone offered you $100 for it? Its a win-win for both parties.
Really? lol that's a bad comparison, but your thoughts are understood.

. I came across this highly modified race car. This 83 camaro has a chevy 4:11 rear end, a 383 stroker motor, ratchet shift transmission, and has 800 dollars worth of brand new rims and tires. This car was made for the drag strip. I already have the motor sold this high performance 383 stroker motor has an edelbrock 650 carb sitting on top of it.

I don't see how parting the car out is disrespectful. Who the hell cares? The guy obviously didn't care about the car enough to keep it, so once it's sold, it's sold. No disrespect to anyone when you buy a car. It's your car once that title is in your hand, therefore you can do whatever you want to it, and there are no consequences. It boggles my mind how you think it's disrespectful.

Not necessarily man. Someontimes you just have to let go of things and look ahead. Circumstance push you to it. Not because you do not care. Think about.... People sell their homes. Would you also say they do not care about their house just because it went up for sale?

The owner was making it into a race car, for his 13 year old son, but their son decided to choke someone out at his school the other day so they were selling it.

Eh.. If I pay enough money to BUY something, I can do whatever I want with it. That's the whole point of buying something. I wouldn't buy something with restrictions....

Well, I don't necessarily mean they didn't care about it, but no one should feel like they're disrespecting the PO for doing something when it is legally THEIR car now that the title would be in their hands.

think of it this way he's not scrapping the car its going to multiple people with multiple race cars that are going to put the parts to good use and the little brat that was going to be handed a race car won't get his little ungrateful fingers on it so everybody wins. you just look at things in a negative way that's all.
