Yeah I've seen some of the cars that were featured in person. Some were not as nice. Others were.
That's ok. you buy me another factory bumper and a nice name brand lip and I'll change out the front bumper every now and then. But I'm a J's racing fool and I love that big lip.I dont like the lip

The stickers are in the same orientation. It is the DOHC in the front and Vtec behind them. They are labeled left and right when you get them so you can't mix them up. I'm a little subtle when it comes to rims. Silver is out for me for the most part. White or black is about it.

Well I went to the dealership today and picked up my expensive screws. They must have been made out of gold because they were high as crap.

I bought some of the retainers for the hatch cables. They are discontinued so I had to find them. Luckily my friend had some of them on his Si. I offered him $10 and he was like "hell yeah I don't need them". I was happy to get them even if they are such a tiny insignificant piece.
The valve cover and oil cap are next.

But they weren't new. That's the key to this car.
Well I guess I'm done for the better part of the word. I want a Spoon carbon plug cover. But I don't have time for that now. Maybe soon though. Here's the pic of my valve cover and new J's racing oil cap.

Ok I can get some soon. What do you want to see with it? Mounting points? how it was made?
I started off with grided poster board. I knew what I wanted from the start so I started cutting without measuring. Hell I just knew I wanted a shape so I'd cut a little more here and there. Yeah I measured length and height to start but getting it mounted was another thing. It is mounted with 3 10mm bolts. 2 in the frame rail into pre existing holes with spacers to give it height and the one in the factory intake bracket bolt hole for stabilization. The duct is bolted to one of the plastic intake adapter pieces from O'reilly's and the duct work is the same brand. I think it's Spectre. But it's pretty easy to make. All you need is a sheet metal break, a band saw and some way to straighten out your edges be it a DA/file etc. And for the bracket mine is riveted on with aircraft rivets but welding would be good also.
