My life long goal is to start my own shelter some day.
That'd be pretty awesome. I'm a big animal lover, and shelters are in short supply (for the amount of animals that need shelters).

They're also very short on money. That's the issue at hand. If I ever win the lotto, its going to my home, property, and a shelter on my property.

:like: You should've taken more parking garage pics. With both cars. Maybe facing opposite ways. Seen it on a magazine and it looked boss. Good job though.

This is the strangest summer weather.... 82 during the day, 59 at night. Pretty much every day, it's nearly 20-25º cooler at night than during the day.

I'm starving so I just had watermelon, some weird coffee cake, blueberries, and now I'm about to have peanuts and water lol.

It looks like you have a nice camera and know how to use it.

since im typically negative I'll say that there's nothing really new with the pictures. i might not of seen those cars before but i feel like ive seen the photos before because sooo many people take photos in the same sort of area and from the same angles.

maybe that's all people want though.

Yeah I know what you mean. I've been coming up with new ideas but it's hard to find people who want to participate, hence why I usually shoot my own car in locations that I find would be creative.

But as far as clients go, I just go where they tell me to go and it's hard to shoot in a lot of places because you usually get kicked out. Like that train yard was sick but we got kicked out in like five minutes.

For example, here was one that I felt was a tad different from the norm. This is right off the highway in my town overlooking the valley. I wish it had more depth, but it turned out better than I thought it would (because of the weather and all). I think it would be really good on a nice day or a sunset:

Sunset photos can be really hard though. You either need a flash or some kick ass filters.

This picture is flawless and blows my mind. I want to create pictures like this SO bad:

Portable spot lighting with an umbrella, a diffuser, adjust aperture/iso accordingly, and yeah, a good lens. If you use a tripod and a remote, sometimes you can fake it using a factory lens, but it's a b***h! Gotta set ISO suuuper slower to absorb as much ambient light as possible. Some of my good friends are photographers. I try to sponge when I can haha.

Definitely, it's so crazy how much there is to know! I'm still learning. I guess that picture is like three combined and tonssss of editing.

I really don't like messing with ISO too much because it can make pictures super grainy. I rely a lot on shutter speed and aperature.

Busy day at the office. I can't wait to go home, pack up the rest of the house, and move on Friday. Living out of boxes ATM sorta sucks though.

I'll stick to web and graphic haha. Photography is fun to tinker with, but I don't have the money to delve into it as much as I'd like. Maybe in the future.

Also, yeah, he probably did the same shot three or four times with a really low ISO/Shutter speed, and then had to highpass the crap out of it in photoshop. Learning photoshop will be a godsend to you, if you haven't already done so.
