Got bored with my rims, so I went mobster green. Looks a lot better in person.

Basic prep, sand 400 grit all smoothe.
Wash and dry to get rid of the dust.
Tape off with painters tape and butcher paper
2 light even coats of primer.
3 even coats of the green allowing 10 min between coats to dry and 30 min for the final coat to dry.

My first civic was a white coupe and I miss it like crazy. You're doing a great job with these cars!

Would you mind posting up a close up of the front end? I wanted to see where the lip meets the body in the center. Did you paint that black or is the lip covering the lower white middle section?

I ask because I currently have an all black replacement bumper on my red car. I'm going to respray it this weekend and am trying to decide if I should leave the grilles black or paint the whole dang thing red. After seeing your car, I think leaving the grilles black will look really really good. In your photo, it looks like the lower end middle section is black but it may just be the lip covering it. Looks good!

I think black grills all the way. You want to accent the body colors. And te lip does cover the middle I chose it for that. My spoon lip didn't ad would get pulled down when I scraped on my other ej1. The mugen style I screw in on the top so it doesn't happen. I'll post pics later.

Future plans besides sways struts roll cage and harness..

Ek skirts painted white
Ek mugen read spoiler white
Mold the lip to the front bumper with bondo paint white with black wrap to extend te grill down
Custom built front/rear splitters black
Rear window visor paint matched white
Side window visors

Basically building up looks and aero/suspension in prep for my swap.
But I can't do it too fast as I'm paying off my scion FRS an buying a house =)

An frs pic from Thursday just b4 my drop on the civic =)

Got some ultra lights for dirt cheap, little beat up but nothing bad, just needs new paint.

With the offset on these I plan on camber kits, going up to 205 55s from 195 50s wheel spacers in the wheel then a little lower ad be flush but functional. I scrape now :/ f**k speed bumps.

So why have the FRS and an old civic? Of course I have nothing against civics but why dump money into a 20 yr old econo-box when you have a brand new model car which requires only a little maintenance and which you can break new ground as far as customizing? (Although I know its basically a subaru, u know what I mean?)

It's really only a Subaru engine, everything else is toyota. And the reason being is I don't want to get to hard into modding until the warranty is up or I brake 50k. Also I have a lot of tickets theses I intise myself with the FRS the better my driving record is ;). And the civic is a replacement of y first car that I'm building as I find deals. I am in no way spending top dollar for parts. I find sales and since I know this car so well I do it all myself.
