Haha I used to think the same thing when I saw these cars, but trust me the current engine is more than enough. The K wouldn't even fit because the car is so compact.Nice video you guy should make the car K powered.
my thoughts..........you have learned well my friend. Prepare to not have to worry about a damn thing hahaha. Eat a pizza off of the engine when you get it, although the pizza may be dirtier than the engine. So I found a guy in PA that is going to be building a B16 for boost and offered to buy my long block. I'm going to be selling that, along with a bunch of my other parts to him once he has the money and I"ll be buying an Hmotors B16! I'm pretty stoked. This is what I should have done in the first place, but I guess you live and you learn...
Thoughts?
Oh and I'll be completely redoing the bay while I'm at it. Not paint, but I have some cool ideas.
Yeah haha I can't waitSounds good. Excited to see it man.
From what I've heard, their engines are immaculate. I'm super excitedmy thoughts..........you have learned well my friend. Prepare to not have to worry about a damn thing hahaha. Eat a pizza off of the engine when you get it, although the pizza may be dirtier than the engine.
I would say B for your first swap. It would be a good learning experience and a fun engine, but the complexity and overall cost will be lower. Then you can always go K later down the road.Thats what im saving up for too. Just havented decided between b or k yet.
Yea, that's what i was more leaning towards too thanksI would say B for your first swap. It would be a good learning experience and a fun engine, but the complexity and overall cost will be lower. Then you can always go K later down the road.
Thanks manSounds like a good plan!
Good luck
Sure thing dude, anytime.Yea, that's what i was more leaning towards too thanks
i vouch for them. Both of my swaps, jdm b16a and my tsx came from them! From what I've heard, their engines are immaculate. I'm super excited
This is what I plan to do. I just want a b for some powa and then build a k on the side.I would say B for your first swap. It would be a good learning experience and a fun engine, but the complexity and overall cost will be lower. Then you can always go K later down the road.
Yeah, I remember reading through your old thread how nice the B16 was. The challenge now will be for me to get the transmission as clean as the motor haha. I'm keeping the trans since mechanically it is sound, but the casing is a different story.i vouch for them. Both of my swaps, jdm b16a and my tsx came from them!
I think this makes sense for people who are on a budget, but plan to have more funds later on down the road. This is what I plan to do. I just want a b for some powa and then build a k on the side.
Well now you do hahaLol I never knew a Honda could beat a sports car
To be honest with you, this was my first time since there aren't that many close to my house. I loved it though. I would have stayed much longer if I had more tools, didn't have class, and didn't have to take everything home in my backpack haha.Nice, I love searching through junkyards!
