most of them in PA keep them in, i have yet to go to one that has them pulled outso in oregon where i live our junkyards pull the engines before they get put into the yard. do junkyards elsewhere leave the engines in? because if i ever want an engine harness i gotta pray that they havent cut it to get the engine out.
The ones around me leave them but pull all turbo parts, even in stock applications.most of them in PA keep them in, i have yet to go to one that has them pulled out
This was the first junkyard I've been to. I'm in Virginia right now for school. If you are interested, I could try to get you an engine harness from the junkyard then sell/ship it to you when I get home for Thanksgiving.so in oregon where i live our junkyards pull the engines before they get put into the yard. do junkyards elsewhere leave the engines in? because if i ever want an engine harness i gotta pray that they havent cut it to get the engine out.
See belowi like it, but i dont think it would look good with red
Yeah, the shades are slightly different, but I think red and gray can go together.Thats like the same color that 2slows was on the outside and he had a red bay.
So it would be a color swap. I think it would look bice
I like grey and red. I say do it!
I really like that color for the bay, I'm still on the fence about how it goes with the red...Strut bar kills it but it looks good
You can still do it too haha, I'm not going to stop you.I was gonna do my engine bay that color! But im not anymore! Go for it Reed!
Yeah, that's my only concern. If I do this, it will definitely be spray paint. I can't afford a professional paint job right now.Yes spray paint jobs can turn out nice but theyre not as durable...
Haha that's always an option. Then if it started to flake, it would be the clear and not the baseJust clear the s*** out of it!
Exactly, a good paint job is all in the prep work.I think it looks clean. Go for it, just make sure you have enough coats of spray on there, and make sure it is 100% cleaned and prepped properly before you do it.
I'm in Carlisle...i wonder how far you live from me, i know some painters
