im playing on boosting my single cam d15b in the near future i just wanna make sure i have everything right for when i start to put it on. i have the godspeed single cam turbo kit http://www.godspeedproject.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16&products_id=160 already, brand new. i got it for really cheap through my hook up. but i know its not the best and i prolly should change out a few things but i was wonder what else do i need? i gonna run it at low boost and stock internals and i do plan on getting it tuned. its going to erics racing here in la area as soon as its ready. im not sure if i need to up my injectors or my fuel pump or which ones i should use. any input would be great. no s**t talkers or anyone please.

besides a tune even on low boost you should upgrade the injectors and fuel pump.
I would personally at least go dsm blue tops for the injectors and walboro 255 for the fuel pump.
depending on your boost level etc both may be a tad overkill, but as long as you have a good tuner they can get it all right. Its better to have it and the tune be good then not have enough and the tune be maxing out the stock parts.
what are you tunning it on?
i know y8s and z6 d series in good condition are good to around 200 whp on stock internals not postive about your exact motor, but defintly dont try to go over that on stock internals.
of course all the maitence should be done on the motor and if its high milage should look into a rebuild
Also Arp bolts would be a good investment

a good turbo, a good wastegate, probably at least 390cc injectors and a walboro 255, fpr and a chipped ecu

boost gauge and if youre extra careful like me an A/F gauge

Any good tuner is going to make u get a wideband for tuning purposes. If they dont make you get one then i wouldnt trust them...

i actually just ordered arp head studs and a thicker head gasket yesterday forgot to mention that. im gonna be running the greddy info meter for gauges older bother is using it in his wrx and i love that thing. iv heard the 255 fuel pump was the rout to go just gotten a lot of different injector suggestions so im not sure which ones to choose. im taking this really slow so i dont miss any steps. my motors well taking care of and only has 75k on it so it should be ok only plan on maybe 6 pounds of boost

slow and careful is the way to do any build to me no point in rushing and doing it as fast as possible.
glad to hear you already got those parts.

agree with compression test if you have what was it

i did one about six mouths ago it was all up to spec so im pretty sure the motor will be ok as long as i dont run high boost

it still needs either stand alone engine managment such as hondata or chipped ecu etc to tune it thats how it hold the tune
a dyno is just a dyno

Going to follow this one. I'm planning to do the same with one of my z6 motors. Pretty interested in what you do with the tune.

only other option is a chipped ecu then where they burn you a chip with the tune on it, but i doubt your stock ecu will work im not postive off the top of my head which one you would need.
Personally if i was going to spend the money to boost and tune my car the right way i would run hondata or AEM ems
