Okay fueled by Terkie and restlessness I got out in the garage today and did a little tinkering

This is the bushing kit I ordered from the CC website

This is the shifter bushing set, decided to slap it on since its the easiest, and doesn't require a press to install.

I realized I have no current bay pics also, and figured I could use some. Just cleaned the crap out of it and painted the vc. Wrinkle krylon black. That was back in summer and still looking fresh!

Removed the linkage damper and installed the trans mount bushing

And installed the bracket bushing that mounts below the shift selector. That's my "bigger-than-me" little brother, he was bored too so we decided to tag team this job!

Installation is reverse of removal, all buttoned up and ready to test drive! The shifter felt firmer and gear selection much smoother, a good upgrade that took only 30 min to do! Deffinaly going to enjoy the easier gear selection while I'm commuting. Well, thanks guys for following, and being patient with my slow build! More to come as cash flow increases, got big plans for 2013!

get those five tiny screws and screw your grill into your front bumper. Gets rid of that 3D effect you have going on

Well since it's a replica, i don't know if it has the holes to put the screws through, but you should see the few spots on the bumper where it should go. A short self tapping screw would do just fine.

Yeah it looks like since its cheap it won't fit flush in the bumper, and forceing it into a bind to drill it in place would look worse problably. When I get more money I'll order oem. Thanks fellas!

every replica grill ive ever seen only had the 5 top things to secure it; however there is a write up somewhere here on cc to secure the bottom to make it fit correctly and i know for a fact it works my friends have used it for theres.

No update, update: my uncle shows up this morning cause him and my dad were going to try and remove swirls from the car he's built, I told them I could do it for free. He went to some dood that charged a lot and made it worse, when I went outside I saw I saw my uncles 7 year build finally complete. And I get to drive it around next weekend in exchange for a clay/polish/wax!! Guess I'm working all day on my only day off again, but its a labor of love.

That's 1 mean time machine your uncle got. Nice red CIVIC. Makes me wanna start over again. Too bad I can't. :(

Anyhow, in regards to your exhaust system and muffler, is it loud? I'm looking to QUIET down my Civic the most I possibly can by changing my muffler possibly to an OEM. I to have a Ebay exhaust system. My car is a 98 CX hatch. Lemme know if its loud. I like the look of it on your car. Looks sick!
