Cutting the spring would not be a good idea. I could see it opening prematurely and messing with the tune.Also Do you think it would be a good/wise idea to cut the BOV spring down little by little or just wait till the new spring arrives?
Yes it is.would you cut your shock springs until you got coilovers or coil sleeves? no....so don't cut the bov spring either.
and that lip is polyurethane isn't it? It would be a PITA to fix
