So I went to see about getting my lip repaired and they pretty much told me to fk off. Since I don't really know much about all that jazz and I have another lip in perfect shape I decided to theme it with the bumper. It is now my winter mode bumper.

Cutting the spring would not be a good idea. I could see it opening prematurely and messing with the tune.

That's not completely true...
Old spring is on the left (10lb) and the correct spring is on the right (7lb)
Haven't driven it yet because my center console is all torn apart for the amber clock install
