My daughter bought a 1995 civic with 368,000+ miles on it for $1,800 less than a week ago.
So far we've replaced...
Windshield, passenger front outside door handle, cat-back exhaust, trunk carpeting, and spare tire.
Not a bad looking car for 368k miles.

Thanks, there's no rust so I assume it hasn't lived up north. The interior is amazingly clean too.

See? Gurnee, IL. I used to live in Naperville and know how the salt eats cars up there! :smackself
It was painful to see my engine bay being corroded up there even in my '06 civic.

Cleaned the crap out of my new 93 that I bought. Needs a major cut and buff to try and remove some of the faded clear and make it nice and red again. Pics tomorrow when it's light out.

^^^ Baller status! ^^^

Checked under the 368,000 mile civic today.
Grease is being slung around the bay because the boot is not attached well. Can the clamp be tightened or replaced?
Update - Bought a new clamp especially made for the boot so I'll install this week and see how it works out.

Also there is oil pooling up inside the power steering boot. Can the seals be easily replaced? Power steering fluid is still almost half full after a week so it's not leaking too bad. Just looks that way since it pools up in there.

I'm in the Dallas area. The local economy is good here and plenty to do.

^^^ It's just a standard Mugen replica lip...lol.

Last thing I did to my Civic (del Sol...), was wash and vacuum it. Not a whole hell of a lot one can do when theres a foot of snow on the ground, it's 20 degrees out, and NO garage. FML.
