If you get the trans chrome-dipped then you have to get the block too. Otherwise I don't think it would look good.

Chrome? Lol my intake manifold was $315 all said and done, there is more to chroming something than just dipping it in liquid chrome, it has to be smooth and polished then copper coated (usually).aluminum must be copper coated first bc the acid used to clean parts before chrome will eat right through the aluminum in seconds. Chrome plating the part is usually cheaper than the labor involved prepping it for the plating process!

But a powdercoated block and tranny would be badass!

ive seen chrome dipped blocks and trans and they look sweet, but then you would have to rebuild the engine and everything which would defeat the purpose of hmotors stuff


if cleaning doesnt work you could go chrome powdercoating

Learned things the hard way, didn't even have an engine in at this time. You should find the ones with the r34 styled body kit, carbon fiber sticker canards, and painted interior pieces.
