Yep, you got it. This company doesn't want to deal with going VMware, even though I have a lot more experience in it. I explained how it could cut down in cost. All they see, is that they'd have to spend a bunch of money on a better box to VM everything out. They don't like that.Sounds like its a physical box, not a VM. Best of luck to you...
DUDE. Cable management!Gonna be reformatting a hard drive and possibly my main drive. Spring cleaning. You should see the mess of wires I have. Damn power supply.

x2zip ties are your friends!!!
I'm seriously debating painting my VC, but I eventually want to swap (later this year, probably summer), so I feel it'll be a waste. Hell, I'm even debating replacing my leaky rear main seal. Waste of time, money and effort if I'm just gonna swap everything haha.I wish I got a 4 hour shift now an then.
Prepping and paint my valve cover, getting my intake manifold setup for the install Saturday and going out with my girl this afternoon
I know lol. i need to buy cable ties. Most of those cables are unneeded, but my powersupply has like a billion connectors. I wanna redo the whole computer, because my tower has a front door with gauges, and i don't use the gauges, so I want to eliminate the door and extra wires.DUDE. Cable management!
I built my computer about years ago. I went cheap cause it was for my parents. All they did was browse the web. They bought a new computer last year around the same time my laptop took a s**t. They gave me the computer I built for them.I havent seen an IDE hard drive in years lol, its like having an old NES but not as cool.
I was, originally. My first build as an AMD x64 Athlon. Now, I just don't give a s**t haha.I'm an AMD fanboy for life lol.
I know a i3 will compile source code just fine n that's all I really need. I compile source code on my current machine but it takes for ever if it don't error out. The i7 will compile what's taken me hours in a half hour if the build environment Is set up right. I just want to be spoiled.I haven't built a computer in years. I might sometime down the line, once I can throw the money at it. I don't have a real reason, though. My Macbook does fine for me right now. I don't game anymore (Xbox and PS3 for that, if I want to), I don't do 3D modeling or anything.. I do web/graphic design, but don't need an insane rig for that. About the only thing I could see myself shelling out cash for an i7 machine for is video editing..
What's the error?Getting really pissed off right now. Burned my windows 7 disc using Infra recorder which I've always had success doing in the past, and got an error trying to install windows. Ugh. And I can't find my other 7 disk. Probably gonna have to hop on Ubuntu for a bit till I sort s**t out.

I won't know unless I know the error. Could be he forgot to make the CD bootable, missing DLLs etc etc.This. Could also be a bad HDD.
Well, the first disk was my freshly burned dvd using InfraRecorder at 6x speed, and I got an error that I can't remember now. The second disk, was my OLD windows 7 disk and threw a dvd driver missing error. HDD should be good, it worked fine before I got my new motherboard and couldn't run it anymore. It's IDE, so I had to minus a DVD drive to put it in, but it's the biggest drive I have. I'm wipining it completely clean with terminal on ubuntu right now. I'll try my new disk again and see what's up. I'll take a picture of the screen when I do it.What's the error?
