im going to say this until you do it. inline fuel filter and braided clutch line, would make such a difference and best time to do it is now. i think i paid about 40 for my clutch line set up and 90 for the whole inline fuel filter set up

Just normal white gloss paint. White primer underneath and a coat of clear. With heat following each coat.
When painting, use a different color primer than your paint. That way, you can see how even your coats are. Great job though!
I agree with Tig about the inline fuel filter and braided clutch lines. Now is the best and easiest time to handle it, if you have the funds!

So I have a question. Forgive my noob-ness. But my car is at my grandpa's shop for me to work in, and he is very set on trying to find me a reman crank for the car. He's a very smart mechanic but he is also from an older generation. I honestly don't feel comfortable running a reman crank in my car, but I want to know what you guys think. You guys have built more motors than me, but I don't like the idea of a reman crank for Hondas. V8s, maybe. I've been trying to research but I haven't found too much discussion on this topic.

I'm building another block for all that later on. This is just to be a reliable motor at this point.

Ordered a new connecting rod (for $38!!! Instead of $126 
) Also buying an ITR crank once I can meet up with my buddy.
When I get the crank, going to measure the journals and order bearings. Need to order piston rings, a rebuild kit, and a oil pump. I'm baffled that Napa and Oreillys want $126 for an aftermarket oil pump and Acura wants $106.

Finished the rear wheels, took all my stickers off the car, got my R crank, and got my #3 rod this morning. Need to micropolish the crank, measure it for bearings, order rings, get my flywheel resurfaced, order a new clutch (mine got f***ed somehow. I'm not sure but I'm not happy about it) and new seals.
