:D

Little work in Saturday. Found out the swap came with 36mm axels by mistake. No big deal just sucks I'll still be in parts store axels vice OEM again. I had to picked up a new passenger side as I used it on the wifes since sold FBP after I took my car down. Driver side is back together and the header is in place, just not fully tightened down. Also remove the secondary O2 sensor since I'll be running OBD1 and wont need it. Took the sensor out of boot and filled it with Honda Bond to seal the pass though to the cabin of the car.

Looks great man. I like your plans for the harness. I'm going to redo mine in a somewhat similar way, I think. Will you be able to pass inspection with only one O2 sensor? What kind of headers are those?

Thanks man =)

As for inspection, they do not scan us its only a visual safety inspection. The couple of things on my car that would not pass are "not present at time of inspection" if I'm asked by the law...lol. Being in racing and and knowing people in the scene you know where to go that they can just not see whats really there, like a cat vice my straight test pipe. And my rewired fogs. The header is a PLM Toda rep.

I've got only one O2 (post cat), and I passed California's strict emissions inspection. It just failed the sniffer cause my cat was on it's way out lol.

Lucky me I dont have to worry about it...lol.

I think the pic looks worse than it is for header to A/C. But none of the A/C stuff up there is tied back yet. None of the brackets are on it. Its all just chillin'. It was really close on the RMF and I just pulled it closer to the front. But that silver wrap in the full bay photo is heat barrier blanket that will be going over the A/C lines.

Thanks for the info man.

I think you told me before that you basically just need something that resembles a catalytic converter in order to pass the visual and you're good to go.

Put in the passenger axel and closed up that side of the suspension last night Went under the car and checks bolts for tight and it was all good. Put the first 4qts of oil in, filled the trans, put about 1.5gal of coolant in.

Tonight, looking to get inside the car and get things going back together and look at splicing the harness from the RyWire to the Si. Then all thats left is to tighten down the header and put the test pipe in place. As well as connect the linkage. I've been holding out on that as I have a test pipe thats been on order since Dec 5th...dang back orders! Last word was its shipping this month...

00siboy, the header really isnt that close. I looked again last night and that is just how it looks in the picture. My RMF was much closer. So close I had to remove the bracket that was on the upper AC line and zip tie it back. Also, I drilled a new hole in the lower bracket AC line under the radiator to help draw it in a bit more. There is much more clearance with the PLM. I'm actually going to probably put the upper AC line bracket back on as its not any type of possible contact. It also looks like it has a bit better ground clearance over the RMF. I'll see if I cant get a better photo for you =)

^^Cool thanks. I was actually debating between the RMF rep and Toda rep but came across the group buy and couldn't pass that up, and from what you said it looks like I made the right choice.

Yeah, it was great to finally get out again. I was more excited about that than really feeling the difference in the engine...lol. Plus it was just a short ride to see if there were any issues, like the seemingly front main. Almost there! Cant wait to get back tot he grind =)

And forgot this pic...first landing!
