Thanks 203CT, cant wait to get it back on the road myself...lol.

And yeah mymmeryloss, depending on what they will give me for trade in on the S200 for the 300 I'll probably go ahead and upgrade. After I'm back on the road I plan on hitting up the shop that will be doing my tuning and asking what they will do for me. =)

I think Hondata may be having a trade in sale for the new S300 right now. Worth checking out.

^^I have always wanted to try that ball joint tool out. How well does it work, assuming you have used it before? I always just use a vice and a sledge lol.

Pickle fork and sledge for me! Takes a pounding, but it'll pop it right out haha.

I havent used it before but have seen it work very well. Considering the removal cups over the bottom of the ball joint to push it out and the insert cups the top to drive it in I would imagine it being rather awesome...lol. The ease of use I've seen sold me and I asked for it for Christmas so it was ready when I need it. =)

You can do a lower ball joint without removing the hub right?

EDIT: I mean with that tool.

Haha...thanks datbumper =)

emerican - I looked on the Hondata site and it wasnt enough to make me jump on the deal right now...lol. But I also didnt call anyone or do much more research as a couple things came up.

Currently the subframe is still off. We had to drop it as it felt like on of the bolts was starting to cross thread and it was hard to see all the way through it. Buddy came over with a tap and die kit and it turned out it didnt have the size we needed...lol. Off we went to the store yesterday to the only place local that had a 14x1.5..in a big kit. Chased the bolt but it was fine visually and after running the die. Ran the tap a couple times and it was good to go. We just ran out of time yesterday as we both had family stuff going on so the subframe didnt make it back into place. Once that it up though we are not far off from getting it all back together =)

Well, I've been slacking with so much going on at home.

Update on adds to the project - Rywire non quick disconnect milspec harness, S2000 cmc, ChaseBays tuck line...

Subframe is back up and getting things situated/cleaned to try and drop the motor in this coming weekend. Mocked up the clutchline from ChaseBays and the banjo bolt is to long to seat/seal properly so I'm waiting on an email back. If nothing today, I'll call tomorrow. This wont hold things up though as I didnt remove the OEM Civic stuff. Easy job after the fact if needed =)

Look for my FS thread shortly as I have a lot of stuff listed on EM1Crew and EJ8Squad with more to come!

Basically its an over priced crush washer kit...lol. When it comes down to it, thats what it provides. The chassis of the car where the subframe meets it is of course not a machined surface getting a "true seat" in the mating surface. What the colars to is fit into the holes enough to draw together and then the washer collar crushes between the untrue surfaces eliminating any potential for slip in the subframe to chassis. There is debate as to if its works at all but from just an install side, I can see it providing some benifit. It of course isnt an "epic" difference and more can be said to the driver than the collar but I figured with where I was in the tear down I would rather do it now than later. If you do not track at all, dont spend the money. There is a high possiblity of having to drop the subframe just due to the "slop" in the assembly line stamp of the thing. You wont be able to dremel out some of the spots needed safely while its on the car. Also the limited space between the chassis and the subframe makes it very difficult even for someone like me with skinny fingers.
