usually you can find like a 2 day course. also some areas will let you use the course as the driving part of your license requirement so you don't have to take the dot driving thing as well. and they usually supply the bikes.Thinking about getting myself ready to test for my motorcycle permit...
Really? I definitely need to get more ass time on a bike before I do that.usually you can find like a 2 day course. also some areas will let you use the course as the driving part of your license requirement so you don't have to take the dot driving thing as well. and they usually supply the bikes.
They do that here. Take a course, ride their bikes, around cones and stuff...not sure what else. My brother did it though. After, you get your license. No actual riding test out on the road.usually you can find like a 2 day course. also some areas will let you use the course as the driving part of your license requirement so you don't have to take the dot driving thing as well. and they usually supply the bikes.
take the course first and learn the right way to ride. it's usually for non experienced riders like you.Really? I definitely need to get more ass time on a bike before I do that.
it's usually done in like a parking lot. slow speed maneuvers how the bike steers, a little bit on body position. pre riding checks (t-clocs) get u familiar with the bikes, good riding behaviors as well. like keeping your throttle wrist downThey do that here. Sounds about right and looks familiar. Back when I was taking automotive classes, they did this course right in the closed off parking lot outside the building.take the course first and learn the right way to ride. it's usually for non experienced riders like you.

Yes. It's done around here too and to be honest, I think it should be mandatory. There are way too many people that just slide through the test and are out on the road with just having putted around a parking lot, which is not even close to being "ready". It is too dangerous and newbs just don't understand the risks.take the course first and learn the right way to ride. it's usually for non experienced riders like you.

I know that's why I want to get my permit.Yes. It's done around here too and to be honest, I think it should be mandatory. Also keep in mind that if you are out on the road now in Washington without an endorsement and get caught it is an automatic impound. One of the lot kids at work just got busted yesterday and it cost him $250 just to get it out PLUS the price of the ticket.
in iowa they don't have permits u either have a license or you don't but take the course. you'll have a better idea of how into bike you want to get.I know that's why I want to get my permit.
And honestly I would totally do that course.
