Working from home. Trying to get stuff around the house accomplished as well. Group meeting for class later. Can't wait for the semester to be over.

I go on friday for a follow up on my sinus infection, it's probably just a side effect of that. But i've been having random headaches a lot lately, so i guess I should tell him that.

Just finished making this cilantro lime pesto/potato/corn/habanero/pepper salad... I put WAY too much pumpkin seeds in the pesto mix :(. It's still good though. Enjoying this and a steak and I'll finally be working on my car.

Going to go train another company's IT Department on how to use our database web access functions. These people make my job much harder than it needs to be... although their secretary is pretty bangin. I hear her talking to her bro ass boyfriend on the phone all the time though.

usually you can find like a 2 day course. also some areas will let you use the course as the driving part of your license requirement so you don't have to take the dot driving thing as well. and they usually supply the bikes.

Went and applied to another job, trying to decide if I want to pursue it or not. Pay is better, drive is longer and ill have to alternate between shifts every 2 weeks. But a lot more opportunities than my current job.

They do that here. Take a course, ride their bikes, around cones and stuff...not sure what else. My brother did it though. After, you get your license. No actual riding test out on the road.

take the course first and learn the right way to ride. it's usually for non experienced riders like you.

it's usually done in like a parking lot. slow speed maneuvers how the bike steers, a little bit on body position. pre riding checks (t-clocs) get u familiar with the bikes, good riding behaviors as well. like keeping your throttle wrist down

Well I just received my test results from the national registry of food safety. Passed my exam and I'm certified for the next 5 years. Woot!

Sounds about right and looks familiar. Back when I was taking automotive classes, they did this course right in the closed off parking lot outside the building.

And what he said, take the course Alex. It'll help a lot.

went and looked a blue ep3 today. looks to be mostly stock but it hasn't had the nicest of life so far. some door dings. bubbly tint job, some cuts inthe plastic bumper and the headlights need to be freshened up. maybe i'll offer them some lowball amount in case they want to get rid of it badly

Good luck!

I just talked to my uncle who is a bike mechanic and a very seasoned rider, he agrees. I'm thinking about it. But the biggest obstacle is my dad...

Yes. It's done around here too and to be honest, I think it should be mandatory. There are way too many people that just slide through the test and are out on the road with just having putted around a parking lot, which is not even close to being "ready". It is too dangerous and newbs just don't understand the risks.

Also keep in mind that if you are out on the road now in Washington without an endorsement and get caught it is an automatic impound. One of the lot kids at work just got busted yesterday and it cost him $250 just to get it out PLUS the price of the ticket.
