Are you into Harley's? I know a lot of people feel better about cruisers rather than crotch rockets/sports bikes.
But if you want a sports bike then by all means, get one. I'm just offering a compromise

tell him you';re taking a class about motorcycle safety. i'm sure he'd support that other than you trying to learn on your own or from a friend.

You know, I thought about keeping it from him. But with my luck I would get in an accident and he would find out and hate me forever for keeping it from him. And I don't blame him. after you get a license you should get a standard riding position bike that doesn't have huge hp. like a 250. then once you've mastered that and you have smooth throttle control you can get a sport bike. you should never have your dream bike as your first bike because you probably will drop it at some time and you really won't be in control of the bike as much as you should be if you get something like a 600 super sport for your first bike

I can respect a fast bike, but they don't interest me. If I were to own one, it would have to be an 06 Raven Black R1, or a Ducati 999-R.
I want an older Honda CB350 or something converted to a cafe someday. I'd also like a Harley Iron 883. Awesome bikes.
Regional director approved my pay yesterday, waiting for all paperwork to get together then I can go back to work. Feels good.

The Raven black r1 is gorgeous. I saw one for Craigslist here. I want like a mid 00s white r6. But white is hard to come by.
Iron 883's are awesome. My coworker has one, and we swapped bikes for a weekend once I had a blast. Although the motor is a bit on the small side for me. I'm looking into getting a Harley 48 as my next bike. Basically the same bike as the Iron 883 but with a 1200 motor

MDX shopping, got a crazy idea to log onto here to see what's going on.
We have some sort of Suzuki 1100cc bike in our garage - it's green and purple, some sort of rare edition designed after some racer. I'm not big enough to take it out, so I get angry almost every walking into the house when I see it.
Does it show that I'm completely out of the game when I can't even name a bike anymore?
