Maybe i missed it but have you started tucking wires on this one???...
No I haven't yet. I cleaned things up and removed a bunch of clips I don't need though. Kinda streamlining the process for later on.

Aw man, are you getting tactical art aero? Just do it up racecar man, like a circuit club car! Minus all the stickers.

Is it functional to run a splitter(diffuser is what I called it :p) with the sir lip? I was gonna eventually get a real spoon wing and small canards and a small splitter for the front later on, ive seen them with the little gap in the front but the actual race car just have an extension to a flush splitter.
Note the gap with factory lip:

Flush race setup:

I know how it functions, creating a slip stream and low pressure air zone under the car and high pressure above it to make downforce and suck the car down at high speeds, the opposite of how lift is created with an air plane wing.
I guess I'm asking if the setup with my lip would be functional, or just fan boy blang :rolf:

It will still function well with the small gap. The spacing will create a bit of extra downforce but it's not much. A splitter separates the air like you mentioned and a diffuser is in the rear minimizing drag and contributing to downforce as well. In a way, it could be considered bling, just because the full effect of these modifications only happens at pretty high speeds, but who cares  For my particular setup, i know i'll be going far overboard, but that is what I want. I kinda want a track car that i drive on the street. I'm sure that'll rub some people the wrong way and it'll make me smile. :D

^hell no he better not! At least not in a club circuit, one guy clips you and all that hard freakin work and money goes right down the crapper! You could maybe do singles time attack events??

But I'm with you on a track car for street, who cares if people get butt hurt about your car being a racecar, I get f**ked with a lot by dumb rednecks but as soon as the first corner comes up I walk them everytime! The. 4 or 5 min later the come flying up on my ass when the road straightens out and I just shake my head at them in the rear veiw.
I'm finally proficient at heel and toe shifting now! (Just thought I'd share) :rolf:

I want to, but it won't be something hardcore. Just some good fun. I don't have any circuits close to me anyway, so it will probably be pretty rare.

Good s**t :thumbs up

Not really built for the track, but built like a track car. Since I don't have a track near me, it would almost be pointless to treat it like a pure track car. I won't do autoX. I hate cones

Already sold mine. The moment i mentioned removing it I got hit with offers.

the pic and the video, the coils were not maxed. They were close to being all the way down with proper preloaded still, so almost another inch of threads on the coils in that short video, and the garage pic was the same up front but half inch up in the rear.

Lol I wish I could have it all, slammed, wide wheels, meaty tires, full turning raids, full suspension travel, awesome handling, power, silent ride, n/a responsive boost lol. f**k compromise

thats why i intend to have three cars. stock daily, slammed and wide wheeled civic, then a track car.

i wanted an m3, but skyline or supra has been seeming more tempting
