I'm saving =) I considered a loan but I feel a bit irresponsible taking that route. Just gotta stack around 2 grand and il have it. =) already got a quote on the exact year model I want and I can totally afford it. I've made up my mind 100%. Saving for it, taking a motorcycle safety class through my local DMV, and stacking the gear that I need =)

Beyond excited lol

If you take out a loan, good luck with the insurance that you'll need.
Good choice on the 250 though, seems like a nice starter bike.

Today is the first of my 5-day weekend, yet I can't figure out what to do

From what my brother tells me, if you buy a bike via loan, you HAVE to have both liability and whatever the other is...collision? Which is an assload of money a year. He bought his bike mostly via credit card and put a smaller amount down in cash to avoid that.

Workin 6-2:30 today and then my friends bachelor party after. I love these hours =). Installed my new PSU, SSD, and Win 7 that arrived yesterday. f**kin love my new computer =).

Nah checked on insurance and full coverage with a 500 dollar deductible is 44 a month, and with a 1000 dollar deductible it will be 39 a month. =)

But like I said I would just feel irresponsible getting a loan for something I want, but don't necessarily need. So saving it is. It will be worth the wait. My only wants are that it must be 2008+ (bodystyle) and if I can find one in red with low mileage, I'll be happy  my local Craigslist is FILLED with them.

Correction: when you finance a vehicle of ANY sort, you have to have both comp and collision, as well as GAP insurance.

Loans are excellent for credit as long as you don't have too many, and keep payments on time. It helps to keep the life of the loan open until end, or close to end as well. It builds credit worthiness. Even though you don't want to pay all that interest on the loan, take a loss, and keep good credit.

I cleaned the house and tanned today. Now it's storming like crazy so the dogs and I are watching movies in the dark during the storms.

Worked this morning, swapped my back tires to the front, fixed my brother's del Sol driver door, ate some food, then tried taking a nap and now I'm laying in bed trying to get up.

I did a little work on the Civic, making a list on minor things that need to be dealt with. One is my driver side door lock is busted, can't get the key all the way in!
