Sasquatch is a music festival over in Eastern Washington. I've never been able to go but I guess it's super fun. It's a lot of different types of artists. Held on Memorial Day weekend.

Bumbershoot is essentially the same thing but it's Labor Day weekend in downtown Seattle underneath the needle. I've gone three years and I will keep going. Lots of different types of music, food, stand-up comedy and just weird s***. I LOVE getting dressed up in my weird Seattle attire, loading up the booze and just enjoy the music. I've had some of my best memories here. You can look it up:

It's really fun to peoplewatch. And it's not just hipster music! I'm not a hipster and I enjoy it. We've had everything from The Offspring to Hall and Oates come play and everything else in between.
That sounds fun!

We usually have about the same humidity as GA. Right now we are at 95*, feels like 102*, with 49* humidity. That is low for us, but it still feels disgusting.

Maybe I'd like heat more if the humidity was low. I've lived here for so long now that I just correlate heat with humidity, and forget what it's like when I was younger with less humidity.

If it's 80* or warmer I'm miserable anymore.

I was a pretty active runner for a while and I viewed sweat as a sign of hard work, the more covered in sweat I was the better I felt lol.

The only time I don't like sweat is if I'm dressed up nice to go somewhere formal, like a wedding. Other than that, bring on the sweat!

I lived on a farm with no ac until I was 17 and played softball for 8 years, soccer for 2, volleyball for 4, amd swam for 15.

I didn't experience ac until I went to college. Now I'm a pampered city girl and hate heat anf humidity

Heat in general is my enemy. I was born in november when it starts getting down in temperature and I'm so used to like 30 degree weather, I hate anything above 60

Also, anyone else see that 130mph Honda lawn mower?

Yea!!! It's got I think 109HP, with a bike motor in it. Don't know the torque on it. I think it weighs somewhere around 300lbs or so.

I could see a lot of people getting hurt on that thing, but I loved the video.

Buddy is saying he can hook me up with a offshore drilling job.....trying to weigh my options. If I want to leave my easy, stable mediocre paying job for this.

Thank you guys! I really hope it goes well! I'd be re-locating to South Orange County if it does happen. How weird is that? We were just talking about it

Offshore drilling is an awesome job man. If you're game for the hard labor, it's a kick ass experience, and retarded good money.

I'm single, young, and don't mind working. I'm just nervous about stability of the job. The pay would be double what I make now.

You're in a position to gamble. If it sounds like something you're interested in, give it a shot!

Come up to Alaska. Every job on the North Slope (oil country) pays 100k+ starting and most are for 2week on/off rotations. 25% of the people that work up there don't even live in Alaska. A bunch of guys I work with live in Texas and work 1 month on/off. Starting pay $110,000. Gotta be tough to work up here though. Not many dudes can handle working in 50 below zero temps. And it's not like you're outside really.. Everything is built inside of some sort of building.

Anyway... Saw this today. Had to snap a pic =)
