awesome on the shifter and cables. K-Tuned rocks. Stunna Ben hooked Em1crew up with a group buy last year which was a deal I couldn't pass up for my B series K-Tuned shifter and I love it.

Car looks great as always
I'm liking the wheels more and more. At first when you posted them, I wasn't too high on them but the more I see them the more I like them.
those wheels are classic man - on or off the car.
Big thanks to you all!

Out of boredom I decided to go ahead and start moving some of my wires around the way I always do. I had already removed clips and separating wires awhile back so that when I did my little tuck it would be fairly quick and simple. So a couple days ago I hit up the drivers side

I had some people ask before about what I did with my wiper wires, I de-pinned that connector and ran the wires through the side of the fender and reconnected it so I still have wipers.

All the little yellow plastic clips and crap removed.

I started to mess around with the passenger side too....but then I got lazy and just put it off for another day lol. But you can see that side is already clip free and the headlight harness is sort of wedged between the A/C lines for now.

K-Tuned stepped in and helped me out in a BIG way. Got my hands on some of their Race spec shifter cables. These things look promising!!!

Along with the shifter cables comes the billet trans bracket and hardware

The underside of the bracket

The new billet bracket and the stocky with Downstar bolts. The K-tuned bolts are just the same except these are blue zinc'd

very complimentary i'd say

Downstar bell housing bolts with beauty washers along with the billet trans bracket.

I love the way these cables lock into place

rear shot looking forward

Threw in my fittings and fuel pressure gauge from hybrid racing. The fuel pressure gauge was a PITA to screw in. Not sure if it was just mine or what, but after about half of the threads it felt like it would snap off anytime I would tighten it.

and here is where I stand. Probably going to grab a Karcepts A/C P/S delete next or some RDX injectors. Those may be on hold though because I would like to throw some tires on my coupe and get my junk aligned.

Just whenever really. Only kpro and an exhaust are big purchases, so I should be able to keep up the pace with this. Hoping to be able to knock one of those two out by the time I get my engine harnesses back from wireworx.

Its a car! Haha don't we all build them to enjoy them? And the reason its clean is. Because its all BRAND NEW!
well duh. its just a shame that there are a ton of clean parts shot with great lighting... an as soon as they go into the car most these detail will go unnoticed/ get filthy.

Thats how i feel about my project. Sometimes it seems like a waste of money.

I plan to never drive mine in the rain or snow or anything like that, but i can tell u just from being on a trailer for 3000 miles that my truck is filthy. There is no way to keep it completely clean unless u tear into it all every month or so. Its a shame really...

someone who gets it lol. there is a TON of money into this rig, and a lot of that cash goes to the clean parts, yet at the end of the day once they hit the pavement they will ultimately look like some lesser parts. i cringe thinking about the effort put into builds like this and the effort it must take to keep these uber clean motors clean... it almost makes it worth it to NOT DRIVE THE CAR lol.

no i get it, the whole fun of building a car is to drive it. what i am saying is for the first time in a LONG time this build has my attention, very pretty parts, shot with a great photographer and it sucks to know that something that has such detail will get driven. the investment for some is the journey, others its the ride. (that might be too deep for you) often times you see very nice cars never driven because the story behind the build/purchase of the car is really meaningful other times you see a great purpose built car that is a perfect fit for the track. when someone goes through all the effort of buying aircraft grade nuts that cost more than the car itself, its painful to know it will be out on the road where it can be susceptible to a lot of idiot and careless drivers. when you source rare/one off parts its hard to bring yourself to put your hard work into harms way.

I get the whole idea of throwing the money at this and trying to preserve it the way it is. I wouldn't want to drive this if this was an old nsx that I threw together. Even with the rare or one off things, I always say to myself "its still just a civic". It's just not special enough to me. Being OCD and over detailed with cars is just fun to me. Tinkering and wiping s**t down is kind of relaxing.

Also, even though I know it's going to get dirty and probably not be able to get it this clean again, I just want it to start off being spotless so to speak, just like when you hit the dealership and buy a new car.

When I get my hands on a NA1, then ill be checking the forecast, waiting for a Sunday, and needing a solid reason to get gravel on the tread before I drive.
