Eh. Base model. :/ I'm with Child. Glad you got a new car, but man.. The S is a night and day difference all around.

Meh, just because its an rsx doesn't mean much. There's a guy around here with a boosted supra and its an automatic :/ Kinda looses everything special imo

Yeah that's what I'm saying this cars in nice condition and honestly I'm enjoying it a lot I'm not too worried about it being fast for now cause I know what it will be once I recover from the dent I put in the bank with the ek but oh we'll

Meh, just because its an rsx doesn't mean much. There's a guy around here with a boosted supra and its an automatic :/ Kinda looses everything special imo

I did n even trade for my hatch I almost had a type s but when I went to go meet with the kid his car was beat to s**t I looked at this one and it was so clean and unmollested that I had to

I honestly think you made a huge mistake. Stock RSX in CT go for $4,500. You can get a stock type S for $7,000. But at the end of the day it's a clean car just lose the wheels "ASAP"

Not the type s's I was looking at all of the were piles of s**t but hey what's done is done I'm just going to chill and build mine when I get a chance

The only real downside thati look at is, you paid what you paid just for creature comforts since the base is so bare compared to the S, that's all. It's a nice car, newer, more valuable and all but the initial investment seems a little off. Doesn't matter as long as you're happy though. We all just throw in our 2 cents

I feel you don't get me wrong child you are the whole reason I ended up on club civic with a ek hatch I understand where your coming from on the power aspect but come on I started off with an ls ek so at the end if the day I'm in the same boat now just with ac and a very poor mans k series.... Lmao

I don't see why people drool over this K crap. Costs too much and from what ive seen and heard it isnt as reliable as the B. I get the power aspect but most people just leave it stock and doesnt seem worth the money at that point.

For the younger honda crowd, they dont remember what it was like when B series vtec swaps were "too expensive" or overpriced. K's are just newer and come with the price tag. B series used to blow all the time back in the day before it became common knowledge as to what does and doesnt work. The people that claim they don't want a K because "everyone does a k swap" is just like the people that used to say that for b16s and gsr swaps which are damn near default now. They are saught after for a reason. Honda didnt reverse engineer. Most are just comfortable with what they know and dont like change.

A lot of Ks are left stock or just with bolt ons because it outputs more than mild built Bs, so its a lot more than most even attempt. Same thing for boost, a turbo K can see 400+ whp completely stock, its in another league than the older B. People push the limits of a K and that's where they get blown. Nobody with a right mind would output 400whp on a 100% stock gsr because they know it wont hold. In a K, we still wonder if it can do more and more.

The B series is a legend, but the potential of the K hasn't been realized yet and mod for mod, the K always come out on top. We have to suffer the higher pricing until the community shifts towards Ks as a default swap. Im soo old that I remember when tuners and enthusiasts didnt want to mess with the vtec function in a B series because it wasn't understood completely. Turbo LS swaps used to be king of the hill lol
