Some mail arrived yesterday....
Installed:
PLM Narrow 4-1 Header
PLM 2.5" Test Pipe
P2R Thermal TB Gasket
TorqFlo 12" Slim Fan
OEM Cap & Rotor
OEM Plug Wires
Now that it's all installed, I need to take my test pipe to get welded up today.

Not sure on power, maybe an extra HP or two.
What I'm mainly looking for is an overall smoother curve and fixing that nasty flat spot between 4800 and 5300 in the torque curve.Had a velocity stack from a Comptech Icebox intake lying around, so I put it to good use. I was able to fit it to the stock EG2 intake arm with a trimmed 3" corex pipe coupler, like so:

Does that velocity stack actually help?
Hard to say. Theoretically, it's far less restrictive than the air box. I've got a cage for a USDM headlight that would allow open flow to the area. I may rig something up for track.

simple yet effective... just how i like it
So I scored a Feel's Twincam EG6 intake from 93egallmotor. Thanks for the hookup, broseph!
And installed:
This thing sounds mean! Big woosh, and a nice harmonic hum at idle.
Then I took my car up to Richtuned Motorsports last weekend to get tuned.
Squeezed out 177hp & 111 ft-lbs @ 8500. Something to remember -- this is a stock-internal B16A3 with CTR cams. No other mods. Rich said that if I upgrade the valvetrain a little, I can easily break 180+ and rev to 9500.
