that was a 5th gen thing, but you are correct. extremely rare and expensive.

I seen an ek at the ISO meet in Charlotte some Japs' had that was yellow with the yellow recaros I. It you speak of, with a yellow stitch suede personal wheel, the rest was black and grey and it looked pretty good. Was on a set of polished 949 6UL 15x8 with 215 azenis

What I mentioned is the "ek jordan". Its hideous but somewhat rare. There are regular yellow painted ek9s but the jordan has the ugly interior to match.

Never mind, I just found out that they were "Modulo" wheels.
A kid in town has MOMO wheels spray painted metallic blue that looked similar to them.

Almost parted out my car but I didn't... Getting some things worked on, having it torn down for winter in hopes of b16 swap in spring. Updates will be few and far between.
