Working directly with them and ordering parts for them for the last 3 years, I can tell you this is incorrect. Especially models above the B6 body styles. If they were such pieces of s*** half our techs wouldn't own them.

My car has been giving me more and more issues and I'm about tired of putting money into it. Some guy hit it the other day in a parking lot and I'm considering selling the car (private or to carmax or something) and stacking the money from that with the money from insurance and putting a down payment on a car. I just want something that I don't have to fix. Just maintain and be reliable.

How the depreciation rate on those newer Audis?

Literally the only issues I've read about with them are maintenance related.. water pump after 80-100k, leaky PCV etc. Nothing major at all. Everyone I know that has owned one, has loved it.

Exactly. This one's a B7, one previous owner, 61k miles, immaculate condition, all service records on hand, and it has a warranty.

That's where I was with mine, man. I was like that for months. The car just isn't worth the money/time.

Just waiting to hear back from the bank now. We'll see if I get in it.

Most Audi's have a value retention rate of about 55-58% after 3 years. Not too bad considering. They are in the top 20 in the market for retaining value and are in like the top 5 I think for keeping customers coming back.

My boss just traded his leased 2012 A4 on a new leased 2014 and he actually had enough left over from the slow depreciation to make it pretty much straight across on his new one. He was also able to upgrade to a higher model/option and his payments only went up like $30.

I bought some new things today. The smaller of the 2 items is a complete ITR 5 lug swap. Axles, calipers, hubs, trailing arms, rotors I believe too.

Both items were purchased from Hmotorsonline:mrgreen:
