I got some nice parts in today. I'll be replacing all the bushings on this car. I bought an energy suspension master bushing kit. I'm sure this will be fun to install them all...not. I have a press at work and I think it will be getting a lot of use.

Well the kit was about $135 or something. I'm gonna be pressing for a long time. I also did a little bit of work to my lip and side skirts. After I make some brackets for the underneath I can block them and get them ready for paint. I need to get this thing ready. After I rebuild the rack I'll be installing the engine and getting this baby running.

I can paint graphics, hard line camouflage, soft line camouflage, general striping, fades, checker boards, etc. So I can paint whatever I want on it. I'll show you a plane I've striped really soon. Hard line urban camo with red, white, black and chrome.
It's still going to be solid white lol

Progress crept on the build today. I had to make a few more brackets for my side skirts and drill them out. I gave the side skirts a test fit yesterday to see that the brackets I had made for them fit. The brackets look pretty good. I also went to the dealership today. I looked over my hood before I painted the bottom side. It had some dents in it. It had one shallow one and a larger wavy one in the middle of the hood. That was the icing on the cake for me trading it back in for a better one. I inspected this one and it's dent free. I also decided while I was there that I'd buy some power steering fluid and a couple of Honda oil filters.

I agree on the progress part. I fit my side skirts on Saturday before I left for Import Alliance. I won't be going back to any of their events in Nashville. Some douche bag thought it would be cool to smash the Honda emblem on the back of my eg6 about an hour or so into the meet. I've already gotten it apart and off the car with all the emblems removed. I've also got the dent it made wiped and ready to block. I wished I hadn't even gone. The crowd that is into cars is not like it was 10 years ago. People aren't friendly any more and most people don't bring anything to the table. Just a bunch of hipster kids that don't respect other peoples' hard work. I'm over the experience.

That f**kin sucks though. People are dicks. Don't let it discourage you though man. Stayin out of shows may not be a bad idea but please don't let it push you out of the game. People like that may not respect your hard work but I know for a fact it inspires people on here on a daily basis. Me being one of them. I see this build and just go out and try and make my own car better. Clean it, wash it, wax it, etc.

Yeah the dent was certainly a mystery. I have no idea how it got there. I like looking and seeing nice cars, and generally looking at the shittiest cars I've ever laid eyes on. It's interesting looking at some of the stupid things people do to cars. It entertains me.
Yeah I never even thought about looking for any one person or even asking. There were thousands of people there and it would be like finding a needle in a hay stack. The upside is that I've already fixed and pimed the dents. I have the panels off and apart on panel stands. I'll have them repainted some time this week I imagine. The shitty side is that I had to spend about $60 for extra decals.
