Not a big update, but I'm going crazy being broke and not being able to do anything I want to the car. So I went ahead and did the popular headlight loom tuck today. It turned out pretty good, too bad the paint in my bay is complete s***.

With tax return cash I'll be purchasing another set of F&F type 1 coilovers I guess, and getting this thing back on the road again. Wheels and tires will have to wait, I'm going to be rocking some steelies I bought with good all season tires I painted white lol

Nice painted parts man. Those will look great installed. Good work on the headlight harness tuck too.

Well today I spent the whole day finishing the final touches on the loom under the dash and putting my freshly painted parts on the car, I'm so happy with how they turned out. The spoiler is my favorite I think lol :rolf:

And one more if the bay after a good clean and coat of wax

Thanks for following guys, next up is coilovers and an alignment and I'll be on the streets once again!!!

Why another set of coils?
Nah I didn't part the whole car out, I sold my coilovers and got s*** on cause the other guy was suppose to give me his stock suspension. But when he showed up and I started taking parts off it was ebay coilover sleeves on blown shocks. Then I broke a rear suspension bolt head off and was so pissed, I just took his money for them and sent him home.

Reading ftw

Lol, so I'm thinking of getting some flat black 15x6.5 konig heliums, they are cheap and light and look pretty good, does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you follow any specific DIY for the wire tuck? I've been wanting to do the mildest wire tuck on my '95 that doesn't involve any cutting/re-wiring and just curious if you followed someone's DIY. Yours looks good enough for what I want to do.

So, for my coilover selection, I'm thinking of getting some function and form type 2s...

Or, pic apex in either 10k front 8k rear, or 12k,10k.... Can't decide...

Yeah they suck so bad that I've been on em for the last 3 cars of mine without issues.
If you chose FnF type 2, i'd get the eibach versions (cause you know Eibach sucks too) so you can get the exact spring rates you want.

I got yah, I was being fesicious when I thanked tom for yet again an irrelevant post. I liked the 10-6 rates on the type ones on my hatch, just wanted them a hair stiffer. I might go with just the type 2s then. I worked a double tonight and I've been reading the HT F&F thread all night. Thank you for the info, I think the rates and damping will be just fine for my spirited driving set up I'm going for.

lol, they are complete junk, i had them on my g35, the worst mod i did to the car. they blew out really fast made a ton of noise and the dampening feature broke. the ride was more harsh that i liked, there are other options that are better that USE eibach kerry... gc/koni... but if i could do it again i would have bought something that was truly made in japan/usa/germany. just a complete let down.

Do you know if other G35 owners wit this setup had the same problems?

i believe its across platforms, if you look at a lot of forums for different cars, there are complaints, (i know there are complaints about a lot of shocks, but these seem to be the same complaints across the net) the tubes are just kinda junk. if you want SLAMMED these are your best bed, as fully up they are like a 2-3 inch drop, and then it goes down from there. if you just want a slammed look these are them, but dont look for performance from this brand.
