Worked on the rear disk for a bit today. I ended up getting a whole new driver side rear caliper due to the old one just being to old and it was a pain trying to get the old rusty strip bolts out. Me and my buddy who works at Honda still have to finish assembling them but we called it a day since we both had other things to do and we wasted a ton of time trying to salvage the old caliper before giving in and just getting the new one.

So I'm going to buy my coilovers. I found a guy local with some FF1's BNIB so I'll see if I can take them off his hands if not I'll just go thru JHPUSA.

Are you going to replace the bushings on the rear disc?

I've been thinking about it but I've never done it. I still have time to being that I'm waiting till spring is here to throw everything on. As long as it's snow on the ground my car is staying stock.

Well found some wheels to hold me over till I decide on a more desired set. 15x6.5 Polish Rota Slipstreams. I'm a 16" guy myself but these will do.

Pic is for reference

I always did like the polished slips. Theyre no sw388's or regas, but theyll do

Exactly clean and simple plus I needed wheels in a hurry. Cars currently sitting in my back yard with a flat so I had to pull the trigger and pick them up. Also placed an order for some energy suspension rear trailer arm bushings. I'm trying to get the rear disk finish so I can install everything in a week or two. Man is that going to be a long weekend. I'm pretty much swapping out almost all the stock suspension on the car at once.

Why did you get new front spindles? You know the EX and Si have the same front brakes?

I got in a small accident and banged up my passenger front wheel pretty good. I have reason to believe that more then just the wheel is damage so that's why I decided to swap them. Plus one stud on each side is stripped and one of the calipers is damaged. Well I should say old and slow. Most of my braking comes from the driver front. I just want to change everything and not have to worry.

man, all I can ever find locally are 17 and 18 inch Chrome POS wheels. OR, severely overpriced and curb rashed stock wheels.

I'm fortunate to live in a area where cars are a huge deal so there's pretty much nothing I can't get my hands on. I've seen ppl pickup every swap under the sun.

Threw two of the wheels on just so I could drive the car. I'm gonna replace the 195/55 with 50's. The tires still have tread but definitely need to be replaced. I still have my stock wheels up front being that they have a ton of tread and are a better tire for winter conditions.
