to each their own. I'll just listen to the professionals. just like theirs an order in which your supposed to remove cam caps because t can warp it or even snap it
Listen to the professionals, getting certified years ago and building engines back in my military days doesn't mean s**t. A b16 camshaft is not equal to, let's say, a corvette camshaft. The overall mass makes a difference. That's all I'm saying. Not saying your info is wrong.

Well I sold my wheels to a good friend of mines and put the steelies back on for winter. I'm tryna decide what my next wheel setup will be. I'm open to suggestions.

Considering some RPF1's in black. Opinions? I think it's a clean look.

Silver rpf1s would be nice and have a decent resell value if you decide to let them go

Go with the special brilliant coating on RPF1s
SBC is more of a car show look. I don't mind that color just not for me. I want to RPF1s because I plan to do some autocross with a buddy of mines next season. It's a entry level lightweight racing wheel and with the purpose I want for them later down the line spending extra for SBC coating is a waste.

I'm considering silver but at the moment black is more of a itch. I've had a things for black wheels lately after seeing some nice shoots of a friends old ITR on spoon SW388's.

So while I'm up in the air about what wheels I'll be picking up I started to research tires. I plan to pick up another set of wheels sometime later in the year if the autocross thing works out. As you all know this is my DD so it's hard trying to get the best if both worlds. I wanted to get Nitto Neo Gen or S.Drive for street use and either Falken Azenis or Kumho Ecsta XS for a track tire. I would want the second set to be some what daily friendly since I may want to switch wheels just for a different look time to time. I just wanted to here other opinions since I've never owned any of the tires above.

S drives > neo gen for street anyday! Which Azenis? I'm assuming RT-615s, but either of those performance tires are pretty good.

The Nitto's are a little bit of a softer tire and hook well. The S. Drives are known for handling great when cornering and due to the way the side wall is built they can handle being pushed a bit. Not sure which ones I'm going with but I'll scoop both at some point in time.

What's up guys been a while since I came up here. Well nothing much with the car other then a small accident I got into. Which lead to my latest purchase. I picked up a rear end conversion off a Em1. My passages rear drum was making all kinds of noise after my accident so I'm swapping out the whole rear end. I'm just trying to find new e-brake cables because they only came with one and it is useable but not in mint condition.

I ordered a few parts from the dealer I needed for the rear disk. I'm thinking of buying this brake kit. Anyone have any input on the products?

f**k that...order Russell Stainless steel brake lines from the Club civic store. $99 make sure you get them for an EM1. Then buy standard rotor blanks from your parts store for an EM1 (roughly $15-18 a rotor) and then get some badass pads of your choice. (hawk) saves WAY more money
