Did a rear brake job on the biggest pos ram 2500. The caliper slide pins were rusted in half. I had to chisel them out. Then the pistons were rusted in place, customer refused to replace, so I had to fight them for an hour each side. Ridiculous. Can't stand cheap people with crap cars. Fix it right or sell it!

What' new? Let's see....

Started my second job at Red Lobster yesterday as a prep cook. Working 60+ hours is gonna kick my ass but oh well. I want to get out of debt faster.

Going to visit a friend in July for 5 days. It'll be my first time going on vacation by myself (as lame as that sounds). I've never had vacation time from my jobs until this job and vacation started this year. Thankfully I only have to use 8 hours of it because I scheduled the vacation Friday-Tuesday. Should be fun. Six Flags New England is on the list of things I'm doing and I haven't been to an amusement park in about 8/9 years.

I'm selling my D80 + a lens (maybe more) and upgrading to a D7000. I actually found a used body only on eBay for a GREAT deal so I barely lost out on money :thumbs up.

lol tell me about it. s*** adds up quick. And I did consider the D300 as a cheaper alternative but I went with the D7000 for the better high ISO capability (at least from what I've read). I didn't really care for the better AF, frame rates, and CF card on the D300 (and maybe a couple more things).

I want a 70-300 VR next and I think that'll complete my bag. I'll have a flash, wide angle, telephoto, prime, and general purpose kit lens. Although you can never have too many lenses... If I could afford it, I'd totally pick up an 85mm or 105mm.....or even a 70-200 .

Is that a good camera? How much?
It came out in 2010 I think so it's pretty old by now but it's still a pretty good camera. It's gotten really good reviews for being a mid-range level DSLR and has been named a great alternative to more expensive DSLR's. The body only I found on eBay ended at $480. I'm praying it's not a scam lol. I did contact the seller asking when it would ship and if tracking confirmation would be provided and he responded within an hour so I'm thinking not.

I was talking about your old camera for price...

I wouldnt mind getting a nice camera

Well i woke up and played around with my daughter for a bit. Then got up and cleaned house.

Now im drinking coffee and catching up on forums and s***. Then at 11:30 im going to get my weekly haircut and then hopefully do some work on the mazda.

No plans for tonight. Prolly just drink beer and hang out in the garage and see if a friend or two wants to come chill.

I think we r having a yard sale tomorrow. I hate yard sales but the ol lady has had s*** in the living room waiting for a nice weekend for awhile so its time.

See my mom is clearing out one of the spare bedrooms to turn into a studio, saying we have too much stuff. You wanna talk about having a yard/garage sale? lol Hoping they downsize before I move down, already did enough work in the garage alone

The lady is about to go interview new girls for her sorority
I'm fixin to put my car back together finally and maybe even wash it. Only $524 left and it's all mine

Ahhh gotcha. I won't lie to you... The D80 isn't great but it's by no means bad either. It's definitely way outdated by now but the big plus about it is that it has an internal focus motor which means you can use older lenses on it (that don't have focus motors in them) and the camera will do the focusing. Nikon lenses can get quite expensive so being able to buy older and cheaper lenses becomes a bonus when budget becomes a factor.

Not quite sure how much I want for it yet. As of right now, it'd definitely come with the 18-55 kit lens, battery, charger, and charger cord (I might need the neck strap for my D7000 if it doesn't come with one, the eBay listing didn't specify). I haven't really searched around for prices yet but if you are serious about buying it, I'll think of something if and when I get my D7000 first.
