I hear what your saying. And to be honest it's just to much to keep up with for me. Sometimes I go weeks during winter without washing it due to my hose being completely frozen. But I plan to get around to the bay soon.

Picture someone took of my car yesterday at Honda Fest. Don't mind the dirty rear windows. My buddy's dog decided he wanted to lick everything on the way up to the meet.

Few pictures I took

Got to meet Dave (crazyjetsfan I think that's his username). Love his VSM hatch. Real nice humble guy.

It's been a few weeks since I been in here. I just got back from vacation.

Well here's a bit of an update. I sold all my b series parts due to not having motivation to finish the swap. After many attempts to finish it I just decided I didn't want it anymore. I then got the idea to go k series. After some research and talking to a few k swap car owners I decided to start collecting parts. So far I just have some bolts ons. After going down the list of parts I noticed a second job would help with the extra expense of going k so I picked up a part time job to move things along smoother I hope. I also just got a promoting from my main grind so things are looking up and this is looking like it's going to be a little more possible to do the way I want. I'll post pictures of parts once my pile gets a little bigger. Stay tuned.

At first I went oh no! No more b series. Then I has seen k series and felt better

It's going to be slow but I'm definitely going for it. Hopefully I find a long block local but it's not going to be easy. I don't want to go thru Hmotorsonline because it's going to be much more costly being I'm all the way on the easy cost. Wish we had a engine depo over here as good as them. But if push comes to shove and I can't find one I'll pull the trigger.

Small update. Started my part time job this week. It's awesome so far. I also got my promotion which was a huge jump in pay over 12k a year in salary. So I'm really looking forward to this build now that I have extra funds. I'll be grabbing some more parts today off a local buddy so I'll post pictures later tonight when I get off. This build should be moving along soon.

Just checking in. No parts update but I have been setting some money aside to start buying things. Right now I'm researching fuel setups and still just reading threads to see how this whole process goes once it's time to swap. Im still up in the air about what motor I want. I have people suggesting a k20 since this will be my first swap ever and since I most likely will race my car once it's done. I guess it's just easier to learn with at the strip. Then I have others say just go 2.4 because I will eventually so just do it now. Anyone have any info regarding hybrids fuel package vs k-tuned?

I too would suggest a 2.4 block to start, almost everyone wants a 2.4 bottom end eventually, there really isn't a downfall to it. Revving it isn't a problem especially with a tsx block, it's just the stock k24 oil pumps.

Not getting much of a difference in the fuel setups between the two besides the rails and the center fitting on the rails. The fuel filters are both good, the gauges are good, the fuel pressure regulators are good. The K-tuned rail is slightly bigger which I like, but I also prefer the simple center port on the hybrid rails. Can't really lose either way.

Thanks for the input bro. I'm looking at just buying the whole fuel setup from either company. Hybrid say with there "tucked" kit you have to mount the FPR under the brake booster. Are the lines exactly the right lengths or can you move the regulator around. I wanted to try a few different spots to see how it looks.

You have a little room for play, but not very much because of the lines that come off the regulator that mate to the stock hardlines. That's why they suggest that location. I have mine on the drivers side shock tower and the lines are just long enough from the regulator. The center line on the fuel rail and the line to fuel filter is long enough to play around with those two though.

Today's pickup. I got this for a pretty good deal so I had to hop on it. It's brand new and has never been used only mounted. It came with the center port fitting and AN block offs for the ends to run tucked fuel lines which was want I wanted anyway. Hopefully I can knock out the rest of the fuel setup sometime soon. Although I really want to buy my long block first. But back to just socking money away

Well my exhaust decided that it wanted to brake in two so I had to put a whole new exhaust on. Soooo I went and got a vibrant and headed to the exhaust shop. 2.5" from the header back.
