New Ek Coupe Owner, first car

Hi I'm a new member here. Just bought my first car, it's a 1999 Civic DX Coupe. I always wanted an EG Sedan, but can't find a decent sedan where I live, so I decided to pick up one of my in law civic coupe. I never wanted a DX, but the parts came with the car and how clean (from the area I live) the car is.

Many people just refer to 6th gens as EK's because it's the JDM chassis. Obviously not the correct way but I've always just associated EK with a 6th gen.

There never was an EK coupe. JDM or otherwise. At least with sedan and hatch it just sounds retarded to call a us model EK but there was at least one in another market so there is a vague truth in it.

True, it doesn't make sense, it's just a generalization. It's like calling a rock a stone (yep, there's actually a difference).

Yeah I feel ya, it's just a huge pet peeve of mine. Same as calling everything JDM.
