My friend, what would you say is the best S2000 to get; referring to year because I don't believe there is trims.? Standard S2000, not CR.

Its a tombstone pizza. Pretty damn good

Ripped apart all the rims and tires sitting in my garage.

Found out the complete set of shitty painted 15's from my gf's EJ6 are Borbet Type T's. Any chance these may be worth anything?

Making room to stack my S-Drives and LS Meshies until I can find someone to refinish 3 of them.

Supposedly the AP1 "feels" a little more racey, but the AP2 is a little more daily friendly.
I say supposedly because I've ready numerous posts like that, but then also numerous posts from owners of both that can't tell a difference.

The AP1 to me looks dated, but are a couple/few thousand cheaper than an AP2...and have the oh so awesome 9k redline :roll:

AP2 looks better inside & out, imo, and has the bigger 2.2L

AP1's have the stupid plastic window on 00-02 models, whereas 03+ are all glass

06+ are drive-by-wire, if that makes a difference to you

Also used to hear that '05's are a bit faster than the rest.
Which is kind of funny considering when I dyno'd it soon after getting it, the AP1's with mods and stock AP2's there were making 216-218, whereas my '05 was doing 221 stock so maybe there's a little truth :lol:

Definitely consider picking up a hardtop if you use the car a lot to try and deter thieves from ripping the top for your seats resulting in a totaled car.
Buy OEM parts, not replicas. I have yet to hear 1 good thing about a replica part fitting correctly and I've had the car for almost 10 years now :lol:

This is exactly what I found, but people put crap up for crazy prices and I couldn't stand to believe I have a $1'000+ set of rims that someone beat the hell out of, sanded with a wire brush and sprayed black...

They're not in spectacular shape, at all. But if they're worth a few bucks, I might see what I can actually get for them. I know they hold air as is... Damn man.

Get em resurfaced and painted, then slang em. It's worth spending the time if you're comfortable doing it.

I would rather have the glass back.

2.0 L vs 2.2L? I don't think this would be a deciding factory either.. i think.

I've heard Ap2 has "better" tranmission. what's that about?

The Ap2 does have nicer exterior but i haven't done enough research to decided about which interior is nicer. I would prefer a black color interior though.

Exterior color?
1.) Suzuka blue with black interior ( not sure that exist)
2.) would probably be a the VSM ( not sure its VSM, but the silver)
3.) Red or white
4.) Yellow

I would be looking for an S2000 with the fallowing:
well-maintained
well-treated
non-modified; Yup with the original radio still installed.
garage kept
low miles
1 owner
clean carfax

Its my work tuesday, and today the bills attack so I'll be kinda broke till I get paid wednesday then I pay rent if I'm lucky I'll probably have enough money to buy me some new great spark plugs and an air filter for my civic. which brand spark plugs do you guys recommend?
