This is exactly what I found, but people put crap up for crazy prices and I couldn't stand to believe I have a $1'000+ set of rims that someone beat the hell out of, sanded with a wire brush and sprayed black...eBay / Google.
Came across a set of 14x8 for $1500, so there may be some value there.
Get em resurfaced and painted, then slang em. They're not in spectacular shape, at all. But if they're worth a few bucks, I might see what I can actually get for them. I know they hold air as is... Damn man.

I say supposedly because I've ready numerous posts like that, but then also numerous posts from owners of both that can't tell a difference.
The AP1 to me looks dated, but are a couple/few thousand cheaper than an AP2...and have the oh so awesome 9k redline
AP2 looks better inside & out, imo, and has the bigger 2.2L
AP1's have the stupid plastic window on 00-02 models, whereas 03+ are all glass
06+ are drive-by-wire, if that makes a difference to you
Also used to hear that '05's are a bit faster than the rest.
Which is kind of funny considering when I dyno'd it soon after getting it, the AP1's with mods and stock AP2's there were making 216-218, whereas my '05 was doing 221 stock so maybe there's a little truth
Definitely consider picking up a hardtop if you use the car a lot to try and deter thieves from ripping the top for your seats resulting in a totaled car.
Buy OEM parts, not replicas. I have yet to hear 1 good thing about a replica part fitting correctly and I've had the car for almost 10 years now
