I'm planning on picking up an early to mid 2000's silverado z71 4x4
Once there was too many emissions and computers then its a gamble. Thats a nice looking truck though

We are in 2015. Mid 2000's is not new in any stretch of the word. They are 10 years old already. Purdy truck though. If was recommending, I would say a 2006+ second gen silverados. Better engines, better transmissions and not all the problems of the 2003-2005 models.
Train it early. My shepherd wasn't trained when she was young so she wasn't very obedient, but she still listened. They are amazing dogs. Excellent family dogs. I miss my shepherd so much. I want another one but my mom doesn't. They're my favorite dogs.Man.. So my friends mom breeds shepherds and she runs a strict working dogs program and she has a shepherd that would be a great family dog that she said just won't fit into her program, and he's a purebred, 100% full blooded, champion bloodline german shepherds. Both of his parents were imported from Germany but he was born here. She has paperwork on both the parents, as well as him. He's six months old right now. Up to date on all his shots, etc. We're talking about a 1500-2000 dollar GSD. She's willing to let me get him for 300 bucks.
We've been wanting a GSD for quite some time now, but this isn't the best time financially. She's even willing to take payments though.
Tough decision. May head over there today to see the dog and his parents.
If it'll be at your g/f's house, I'd advise against it
I was not happy the minute it popped up.Go Blackhawks, heading out
CEL has been on my dash for months, don't care enough to hook up the reader.
And what's this you have IG and haven't mentioned it nonsense?
That's what I read . I'll get that carbon clean done too. I wonder if there's some performance upgrades I can get done while it's apart.....Ouch. Manifold flap failure more than likely. Common because of the carbon build up on those. Unfortunately, looking at replacing the whole intake manifold if that's the case.
Is that a generic scan? If so I would get a real VCDS scan done before jumping in. A real VCDS scanner should point right to the problem or at least get closer than a basic P code that is just a base reference.
I don't recommend it unless you like 10-11mpg and 80 a week in gasI'm planning on picking up an early to mid 2000's silverado z71 4x4

I agree with these guys, I'd put that money towards moving out before I punched one of her parents in the throat
Gotcha, wasn't aware we had an IG threadDuhh I've had one for a while. I posted on the IG thread. @alcrashlyons
I'd be more worried about her parents either eating, beating, or selling the dog.I don't recommend it unless you like 10-11mpg and 80 a week in gas

But yes, focus on getting you two out of that situation. Then dogs can come in, there will always be another.
Oh, and s***ty MPG ftw. Go diesel if you do end up getting one.
I'd love to get one of the new ones but now can't make up my mind between Silverado or Sierra.
Use them weekly here at work for dealer trades, auction cars, and new cars. I don't know the name of the site but my used car manager should. He is out of town until Tuesday though. Can get you an answer when he gets back if you would like. How's it going guys?
Have any of you ever used a vehicle transport service or can you recommended any company in particular?
www.uship.comI believe it's a site where you put what you have or need picked up and companies bid on the loads. You can then go with the final bid after looking into their rep.
