Hey guys! New here. 95 coupe b20 turbo

Sounds like too much crankcase pressure building up. From what I've heard, that can be a common thing with high hp b20's. Does this link help at all: https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/crankcase-pressure-help-2728284/

    Tranny question

Yeah, you really won't notice much of any difference between any D-series transmissions.

1996 Civic: swap in Hyundai Genesis motor?

@D_Dziekonski please pay attention to the date in which the last post was made. This one isn't too bad, but you recently also replied to a thread last updated in 2012. Thanks!

Hey guys! New here. 95 coupe b20 turbo

:welcome: You either have too much crankcase pressure, or that the dipstick tube pressed into the motor is loose, which I've heard about before. Does the tube wiggle around or move up and down at all? It's pressed to the block, so it really shouldn't. I think your best bet is to get some brake...

Advice on finding good home for my baby

In that case, if you can, see if you can post it in Honda-Tech classifies. Just say pretty much what you're saying here. You may get some people who are genuinely interested in the car and want to preserve it. I would think posting it on a Honda related website should weed out all those people...

Honda civic 2000 lx Exhaust manifold without catalytic converter

You can either replace the entire manifold with cat attached, go aftermarket (which will require manifold plus cat), or try to use JB Weld to repair the crack if it's small, though that may not last forever. LX and EX are different. LX has the cat attached to the manifold. With the EX, it's...

Advice on finding good home for my baby

:welcome: You can try places like Honda Tech classified. I'm not sure of their restrictions on new users. Here we have a 30-day/30-post rule, but to be totally honest our classifies section is pretty dead. Honestly, I would recommend posting it publicly / open, but screen out the potential...

99 civic hx hunting idle while at a stop

For around $25 you can get a good code reader that plugs into your ODB2 port and that you can connect to via your smartphone. I have one and it works great. You can live monitor sensors, takes logs while driving, see / clear codes, etc. I think I paid $15 for the device and the app was $10...

99 civic hx hunting idle while at a stop

You should be seeing the CEL light up when you first start the car. Try jumping the p2 service connector with a paperclip, which can be located by the ECU behind the passenger side kick panel. Jump it with the car off. Then turn the car on without starting the engine. Does the CEL start flashing?

What do I need? 2" drop

It's the toe angle, not camber, that will destroy your tires when you're lowered. That being said, 6th gen Civic's rear suspension would actually benefit from a camber kit. See the exception in this thread here. Any aftermarket suspension, whether coilovers or springs, will make your ride...

    D16 ITB hondata basemap needed

Hey bud, Don't worry, I won't yell at you for your grammar; I understand you just fine ;) You might have better luck on the Hondata forums. Not too many basemaps floating around here. We ended up getting rid of our tuning / basemap section of the forums a couple years ago as it essentially...

NYS tint laws suck donkey d**k. They run tint meters now when going for inspection. NYS law says you need to let 70% of light in. Factory windows let a little more than 70% light in. This means I can't apply any tint. So come inspection time (December), I gotta pull the tint off. f**k this...

    EM2 Looking to go Lower

I don't think it would, I think it depends on the springs themselves. I've never owned aftermarket shocks though, I've always gone with full coilovers. Maybe someone else who has aftermarket shocks can chime in.
