I've been to WBM once, a few years back when it was in MA. It was one of the best shows I've been to! I rolled as shotgun in my buddies LGT and cruised down with 10 or so cars. I got my AP1 wheels and new tires mounted up last night. Pics shall follow.

    EM2 Looking to go Lower

Nope. Don't cut the springs. It's stupid and dangerous. Springs are tapered off on the top and bottom so that they sit flat. By cutting the springs, you're cutting off at least one tapered section, leaving it non-flat. Hit a large pot hole and boom your spring compresses to the side and now your...

"The Mothership" - 1998 Civic - Maintenance Log

I can't really help with the transmission issues, and this may be the same as to what you're using now for a service manual, but I figured I'd throw it out there: http://www.clubcivic.com/forum/threads/96-00-civic-searchable-service-manual-and-electrical-troubleshooting-manual.232049/ Keep us...

Best K24A8 platform: Civic or Accord?

:welcome: Just as a heads up, with most of these setups, if you plan on turbocharing the car, no need for a SRI. The intercooler piping will replace. Depending on where the turbo sits in the bay you might need some custom piping with a filter on the end, but I doubt an AEM intake would fit...

Car goes into the shop tonight. New tires being mounted, and fixing a slight exhaust leak which I believe is just a bad gasket. Ordered me some Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's. Cleaned the AP1 wheels, and applied some supposedly very good wheel coating, VM1... It's expensive though! So we'll see...

    CYP #9: '92 Civic DX

I had this exact same issue. Car runs open loop when it's cold, but once warmed up will run closed loop and A/F ratio will be adjusted by o2 sensor feedback. With my issue, I did not get a CEL for it, but replacing the sensor solved my hesitation issues. OP this would be an easy check for you...

Lots of sugar... looking for a sugar daddy? :ghey: Installed and calibrated a new K-Tuned TPS in the RSX. Car idles much better! No more high idle, no more CEL. OEM TPS must have gotten ruined somehow last summer when I did autocross... it started downpouring mid run, and by the time I...

When I first started college, I could barely drink bud light. Anything more than a large sip wouldn't sit right with me. Overtime and many shotguns later, all that domestic beer goes down like water. Same with whiskey - I remember a time in college when we did shots of Jack, and I immediately...

Yeah makes sense, it's definitely an acquired taste. Just like beer, and I've certainly acquired the taste for that. I've been keeping track of my unique beers, I'm at 932. Gotta save #1000 for a good rare beer.

Really was just never a fan of the taste. I enjoy it with a lot of sugar, but lots of sugar isn't good for you. I don't mind iced coffee on hot days though. Haters gonna hate :what:

Code 16 wouldn't be 16 flashes. It would be 1 long flash, and then 6 short flashes. Every long flash = 10. Any pauses between flashes indicates the end of that code and the start of a new one.

Been getting into loose teas lately, because I don't drink coffee. I have some scottish caramel puerh tea, and some ice wine flavored black tea which is pretty interesting.

    Suspension too soft??

It's possible that the softness is coming from the tires you have on there as well. Normal economy tires (the ones that last 75000 miles) have very soft sidewalls. Performance tires have stiffer sidewalls, and thus less of a body roll feel.

Keep us posted on how it goes. Good things will definitely come your way though, just keep your head up! April 8, Watkins Glen opening day! 3 laps around the track. It's a blast so @Szady and I are going. We also do a fun run with a local shop here... basically a couple hundred cars on a...

    Introduction

:welcome: Yeah, I wouldn't bother too much with try to add performance to an automatic. Though the exhaust (depending on which you get) can give it a nice sound.
