    Suspension

:welcome: to ClubCivic! I am thinking about Fortune Auto coilovers w/ Swift spring upgrade. Heard many of good things about them. If you DD most of the time, look for full bodied coilovers that offer a Swift spring upgrade. http://www.bestcoiloverguide.com/swift-springs-worth-it/

    The New Guy

:welcome: to ClubCivic! We'll be looking forward to your build thread! Performance wise, unless you swap the motor (I don't think many people boost D17's), you won't get much gain out of basic bolt-ons.

Lowered with smooth ride tanabe nf210 vs tein s tech? Possibly others?

:welcome: to ClubCivic! Are you looking to slam the car, or just a slight drop? I've heard good things about the S Techs, though I do not like Teins customer service and due to a previous issue I will not buy them again. Look into Fortune Auto with Swift springs. I am thinking about these...

    Random Lean Issue HELP

I'd check the fuel injectors, one could be clogged or dirty causing you to run lean. Not sure if weak spark could cause it, but wouldn't hurt to check your spark plugs, and replace the wires if it's been a while. Didn't watch the whole video (I'm at work) but do you have a CEL? I had a similar...

    smooth ride

If you have OEM suspension, it should already be quiet and smooth. It's not a Cadillac, so don't expect to be riding on a cloud. If it's not smooth, have a shop look at it as there may just be an issue with what you have now. If there is an issue and they need replacing, replace with OEM shocks...

Performance parts for 98 Civic EX

It kind of excites me that these questions are popping up again... yay for site activity, boo for this questions being answered more times than time itself. There's really no answer to this, and here is why: We don't know your budget We don't know your goal (power, fuel efficiency, etc).. you...

Best budget upgrade for EG civic? need advice

:welcome: to ClubCivic Read this, though there is no K20 information, but good D/B-series information. If you want a budget build, K24 turbo is out of the question (done properly, anyways). I think it should help you out...

2012 Civic, grinding and cannot find anything on it

:welcome: 2012, is it still under warranty? If so I'd take it right to Honda. Are you sure the tires just aren't rubbing the fender / wheel well when you're turning? Are you lowered at all?

    piping

:rolf: 3" muffler tip is not that big, IMO. The Invidia exhaust I'll be installing on my RSX has a 101mm tip... just about 4" - THAT is a can. Stock is 2.5" to begin with though. This is the 4" tip on my car (not my pic, nor my car) Close up: Looks fine to me. :what:

Under hood Fuse Box yellow goop question

Yeah, you can replace just the ELD now. Before they would never even sell just an ELD by itself. I ended up getting a new ELD from Honda, but getting it into the fuse box is tough. I remember just getting frustrated with it because of the small area to work with.

Under hood Fuse Box yellow goop question

I hate that code... replacing the ELD was NOT easy for me on my 6th gen. Took me an hour + just because of the tight space. Some people just replace the entire fuse box.
