06 Civic Fog Light Install Guide (pics!)

So I installed the kit exactly per the instructions and upon startup, no light. I am an engineer so I know I can test the wire kit if needed, but it's already installed and that would be a pain. Anyone else had the install not work on completion? I have checked the connections except for removing the bumper again (just rained). I did reconnect the battery with only the underhood components connected so that the alarm would work during the night, but from the elec layout, the underhood components should have been completely seperate so connecting the power should have had no effect. Any thoughts? I'm really bumbed I spent so much time to turn them on and have no light.

I drove her and the dash light comes on when the on/off button is pressed but still no light function. Guess I'm going to have to take of the bumper and check the wiring. To anyone looking to diy, it really is not that hard if you have done other DIY things before, just follow the instructions and try not to break any of the clips.

So yeah, don't forget to screw in the ground connection, oops. Works now and looks great. And Sonic's pic of the zip tie connections to the front grill shows them connected at the bottom and the instructions show them to be connected at the top, just covering ya on the really good pics, esp the upside down ones, I know how hard those are to take.

has anyone tried playing around with the wires so that the fogs can turn on with the hi-beams? i know it can be done with aftermarket kits cuz the harness is different.

i have a problem i ordered my fogs from passwordjdm.com they come with yellow lenses already on them.
now everything the write up says to do worked but for one thing i have a connector that i cant find out were it plugs into. please help.

this connector is not the one that plugs into the fuse box i have that one and it fits its a separate on that is next to the connector that fits in the fuse box.

That is to allow you to add additional accessories in the future. Since you took the slot in the fuse box, this female connector will be used by your next accessory.

Would the interior illumination light plug into that? (running the fogs/interior light at same time - i know they both use the foglight button to turn on and off)

The Interior Illum. Kit comes with its own switch for the Sedan. Good to know that they use the fog switch on the Coupe. But to answer your question, Yes, the kit would plug in there and have a pigtail with it, as well, for the next accessory.

I have nearly 60K on my Civic and drive constatly on th highway. One problem i have is that the glass lens on the fog lamps keep getting broken.
