but brand new, they're twice that. budget wise, it just doesn't seem to be the best choice if you're aiming for two woofers... unless you get them online. Plus, you'll pay twice as much for the amp 'cuz the new Type Rs handle more power.

I'm using Ebay... But so far i'm down to 10" Subs... either Type-R's, L5's or L7's. Before i get my subs i'm getting speakers to help with actual sound... just want s**t to hit hard and people to be like damnnn. Alot of people have Type-R's at my school... i want to make myself different and not 'Pose" But i mean i'm looking for you all for suggestions. I appreciate them so far keep them coming.
Pound your system when there are a lot of people around.............park the car and go inside somewhere========audio system may be gone when you come out. I never pound my s**t when I plan to park somewhere. I just do it when I leave.Iakona said:

no alarm, no system!IMO... pioneer has never let me down. well pioneer premier. i have a premier Deh-p8600MP and its a bad ass head unit. in the trunk i have a premier ts-w5000spl powered by a JL 1000/1 amp and its freakin sweet. i dont have hookups either like half of these clowns but as mentioned before, EBAY it your friend. i got my HU for 300, sub for 600 and amp for 700. thats 1600 leaving a lil $$ left over for components. good luck man. pioneer had been around for ages so you know its a name brand you can trust. plus i think alpine head units look cheasy....
