You still havent told me the difference between a 1981 and a 1982 Corvette, and you should CLEARLY know it just because I know it. This is your logic. You take YOUR thought process and put it into another scenario. It DOES not work that way. Just because YOU know what an M5 is capable of does NOT mean that EVERYONE does. And do you think that someone who has enough money to buy a brand new M5 for their 19 year old son is going to research the difference in insurance costs between that and other cars? Also, obviously insurance for an $80k M5 will cost more than for a damn 325.A corvette is known to be stupid fast Stock. A BMW isnt, unless its a M series. Coming from someone elses perspective, You can CLEARLY tell the difference between EX and a Si just feel wise. My girl has a BMW and her insurance is alot cheaper with her 325xi then the M3 she wanted.
You have a really good point. Although, I do believe that by the time he is 19.....he is MORE than responsible for his actions. But you do have a solid point, that his parents OBVIOUSLY did a terrible job.
