Looks good man. I really like that look.
Thanks. I'm not super happy with it. I wish I could afford real lips, but I would rather spend money on performance stuff. After my swap, I will probably buy the correct 96-98 knock-off front lip and have all the trim and lips professionally painted. I can always go lower too...

look really good dude
keep it up!!!!
yea man, good stuff
Thanks guys.

I finally had a chance to pick up my front suspension from the powder-coater. It looks really good. I had them do a semi-gloss black finish and they even taped off all the bushing holes so they will easily press back in. I will probably install the control arms when I do the swap, but I'm going to wait until I have a rear sway bar to install the front one.

Sorry for the bad pic, I'll have more later.

In other news, I got to drive an Integra Type-R today!!!

It was soo awesome!! I was driving past the other day and saw it for sale. I told my dad he should test drive it, because I knew they wouldn't let a kid just come in and drive it. The used car dealership is like 10 min away and is selling an '01 FBP Type-R. It is completely stock except for an AEM cold air intake. It has 87,XXX miles. The exterior is probably 8.5/10 and the interior is 7/10. The only real issue with the car is that it has a leaking cam seal. I could tell because the front/side of the block had fresh oil on it.

I went today with my dad and it turns out that it was actually the salesman's old car. He had to sell it because he lost his license for DUI. My dad took it out on all these back roads and the guy didn't care. He even let me drive it back.

I would get in so much trouble if that was my DD. The trans is geared so short that I was always around 5K and I was doing 80mph before I knew it. VTEC hit so hard and the handling was phenomenal.

Now I just need to make $10,900...

There are some clean ones if you look hard enough. I guess I just got lucky haha.

Yeah, it is definitely a challenge. I have to work a ton to be able to afford all the parts I want to buy, but that leaves me with no time to work on my car. Who knows what 2012 will bring...

I hate my lips haha I just can't afford real ones. I don't mind the mirrors that much, they were super cheap. When my mirror originally got taken off, I was looking at CTR ones, but I just couldn't spend $200 at the time. After I'm happy with the performance aspect of my car, then I will buy OEM lips and CTR mirrors.

I had a chance to wire up my side markers today. All the wiring is now complete. I just have to cut the holes in my fenders. Hopefully I'll have a chance sometime this week or next weekend.

Another paycheck, more parts:

'98 Civic EX 5-speed engine harness

Skunk2 first gen intake manifold

EX catalytic converter

Only looking for a few more parts now. Still need the clutch/flywheel set up, intake, shift linkage, and a rear "T'-bracket. Other than that, it's just miscellaneous little parts.
