I may have to get ahold of you before long. Still paying for $1,000 in boot I had to pay to trade up from the T/A but I may get that from you when I get the car paid for (Shouldn't be long). Either that or I could pay when tax returns come back! Do you have any pictures of it?

Congrats. Awesome car for sure. Where's the rest of the A/C? I wonder why it was pulled out :what:

Also, you may want to make sure that alarm system is functional. Someone would surely want to gobble up your prize :scurred:

So in other words, Avoid them? The only thing I try to avoid knock offs on is my car. You get what you pay for. So I usually end up saving my money for decently long ammounts of time. Considering I'm 17 and work a minimun wage job it takes me quite some time to get what I want lol

The PO took it out and put it in a box. He gave me everything to put it back in though, only problem is that he cut all the AC lines... Ive never fooled with an AC so it may be a bit tricky to get it all working. Thats what windows are for anyways, right?! Haha, I kid. The drivers side window was off track so the guy took it apart, ordered a new track, regulator thing and motor, but never put it all back. He gave them to me though. Once it warms up and quits snowing, thatll be the first thing I'll do.

AC work is actually very simple. Most are just intimidated by it. There will be a few things that are fairly cheap and need replaced. Since the system has been open so long I strongly advise you take it some where and have it vacuumed and recharged. Don't try to use the cans of refrigerant.

^^This. You will need a system flush. Debris gets into the system and can cause compressors, orifices, and expansion valves to go bad.

I'll definitely get a system flush when I start working on it! If it stays warm today I may attempt to put together the window assembly thing again so I can roll down the windows. Shouldn't be too hard!

Probably not both considering typically the orfice tube reolaces expansion valve. Systems have one or the other.

Ahh, found a diagram with step by step instructions but I went out to the box of parts the guy gave me, and there wasn't a regulator.. So ill buy a regulator here soon and then work on it...

Thanks haha. So is it just me or do you basically have to dump the clutch in order to take off from a dead stop if youve got a racing clutch(6 puck is what the PO told me)? I drove to work today and had to like dump the clutch to get it to go... It like stalls out immediately if you don't? I haven't driven stick in like a year and a half, so that could be some of it, or is it just something about the racing clutch lol? It's like it doesn't start engaging until the very last second?

You shouldn't have to dump the clutch to get it going even on a performance clutch. It's just going to be harder to have smooth take-offs.
If you haven't drove stick for awhile it's going to take awhile to get used too.
I learned how to drive on an S2k so it wasn't too hard for me to get used too. lol
A racing clutch can handle more power than a regular clutch can. That's the reason for them, obviously but not so much that you should literally have to dump it to get going from a dead stop.
