runs + drives on it's own. just too much snow on the ground so i'm not driving it.

started collecting turbo parts however. got oem shift linkage, walbro fuel pump, ram horn manifold, IC, BOV and that's about it for now. Funds are super tight, can't afford to spend more on it until after graduation unfortunately

picked up brand new b series linkages yesterday. and drove it around the block again for the hell of it.

cluster has lights, but tach and speedo don't work. i think my cluster is shot. it didn't work before the swap, and now has new trans, new vss, new ecu so it's either wiring or the cluster. also, after my rip around the block (actually doesn't pull too badly on pavement) the entire engine was smoking heavily so I have to figure out why too. i'm wondering about the headgasket.

items left for stage one completion:
- wire tuck
- proper linkages installed
- power steering pump (acquire and install)
- brakes (half paid for)

Brakes are paid for. Partially on the car now. Linkages still sitting on the ground.

Picked up mounts and transmission for the new swap that'll be coming next winter/summer I hope.

Sorry. Guess I haven't posted on here as much as I used to. Yep the new plan is a J swap. Traded my Starks for an Accord trans, and paid 200 for the mounts. Picked up a J32a1 with harness, cluster, ignition, key, exhaust manifold (3-1 both sides), ecu and think that's it. Got all that for 450. Has about 180xxx kms on the motor. Plans for that is timing belt and water pump, seals, and spark plugs. Also, picked up a set of Work Nezart rims (16x7) from a buddy. Tires are shredded but i need sticky tires for the J swap anyway.

So hopefully this swap will go a lot smoother then the B. I'm probably going to go with an engine harness from Don at RPM Systems, an AEM EMS, and Hasport Level 2 axles. Get the thing running then tune it and use it as my DD. Then start working on my 08 Si again.

Sounds good. Damn a J swap in a sol. This is gonna be sick. Tuned in man.

lol. Thanks. As I'm still in college at the moment purchasing parts for the J swap is going slow. I've basically gotten all the cheap items, now I need the more expensive ones.

AEM EMS => $1100
Axles => $750
Harness => $700
Tires => $600+

Right now I'm waiting on my custom 3" straight pipe exhaust to be built. I'll be running that with the B18 and with the J32. Gotta pay for that too, and finish paying for the Nezarts.

Nice thing, might have a job lined up for after graduation then I can start putting some real money into this.

Wow it's been a while since I've been on this forum.

Well some updates, finally finished school, just doing some work practicum until end of june. Almost done.

Picked up some GSR cloth seats for the sol and got rid of the OEM ones. Recently put the washer fluid tank back in and ordered the lines. Installed my OEM B series linkages finally.

GSR seats are in

Dash is almost back together

changed my mind, gonna run that 3" pipe on my integra for my J32 swap and use the GSR exhaust that was on the teg on the del sol

This is how she's sitting at the moment

Sorry to disappoint, during my absence I picked up a new shell for the J32 to go into. I had the opportunity to buy the car that got me hooked on modding cars in the first place. I couldn't pass it up. It's a 95 phoenix yellow LS teg. JDM front conversion (which was parted out so I need a new one), GSR cloth seats front and rear, black interior, two tiny patches of rust above the wheel wells (surface only, not holes). Got it for $200. I couldn't pass it up. So now the Del Sol will be a B18B1 DD, with maybe a turbo in the future.

Pics and the eventual build will be posted here
http://www.clubcivic.com/board/showthread.php?t=213832

In Sol related news, got some washer stuff last night, and finished installing my intake a VC. Also, the CRV b20 power steering belt worked perfectly fine on my B18b1. Need to weld up the exhaust pipe (had to cut out about 3-4") and move the hangers so they're in the proper position and should be good to be a daily again.
