Here are some updates from the past few days.

Got the front mount installed today. The strap in the front is stainless steel. Cut it out and bent it up. Wraps around from the back and then has a SS L brackets from the back. Have a rubber stopper between the bottom of the core support and the intercooler. The shiny spots on it are from rain drops cause it started raining once again.

Here is my harness bar/ cam mount for the Sol I built today. Before anyone says anything it is built from 1.5" .125" wall DOM and the brackets are cut from .250" I-beam. It is bolted into where the factory upper seat belts bolt to.

You can kinda see the shops logo through the back glass.

Here is sits with the front sheet metal and bumper back on it.

Here are a couple of the front bumper installed with the intercooler. Looks like i need to mover the intercooler to the pass side just a bit.

Here are a few pics of the down pipe and the car in the day light.

The 3" stainless steel Forced Performance down pipe modified to fit my setup.

i hope thats not the permanant mount for the intercooler... and you should weld a stainless flex section in that downpipe.

other than that it looks good.

oh, and as for tuning... go with Neptune. just my :twocents:

^ I agree, you need to change that mounting on your FMIC.. looks ghetto/half assed man. Most FMIC have a threaded hole on each side that you can just make tabs for and bolt it to your bumper using those.

Also, how is your dumptube held onto your hot side of your turbo? Is that a vband, cause from the pics it looks like it's just a metal hose clamp?

Its just a illusion the down pipe is held on with a V-band. The outlet of the turbo is 2.5" and the pipe is 3" transitions right there at the flange making it look that way. I plan on doing a flex pipe just havent got one yet.

The intercooler also has L brackets holding it in from the back. Had no other way to help hold it from moving around. It has no holes in the top. Just 2 wings coming up on each side. It wanted to rock front and back.

Here are some pics of the harness while I was doing the wire tuck.

Here are some pics of the engine in the car and some of the IC pipe ran.

Mishimoto radiator hoses should be here any day. Prob picking up fluids tomorrow. Finish hooking up mounts, hoses, and wires. Need 1 2.5" 90* elbow for intercooler piping.

there are tabs on the top let and right of the end tanks on the intercooler. drill a hole thru those and mount from there, where it wont block flow or look tacky.

I have soemthin mounted there but it just would swing around. Now since I have all the IC pipe mounted it dont move. I can remove that center strap now.

well I started it today. It wont idle correctly yet my base map is way off. I have to feather the gas to get it to run. Hopefully I can get my map worked out.

Nice write up/build! Thanks for some of the useful info :thumbs up

Here is what I started with:
What kind of side mount intercooler is that? It's definitely a good way to hide the fact that you're boosted ;)

That is a stock 2g DSM (95-99 Eclipse or Talon).

While I am waiting to find out if I have a bad map I am goin to do the 10.5" brake upgrade with the 7/8" master. I picked up front calipers, brackets, rotors and the master today.

I forgot you had to have spindles. A buddy of mine had some sittin around and I got them. Gettin ready to install it all.

Thanks. I got the other side done today, changed the master cylinder, installed my rear sway bar. Just have to bleed the brakes tomorrow.
