you also didn't read that i want ot beat it in almost EVERYTHING. horsepower, gas mileage, handling, QM. f**k comfort, etc etc, as long as it isn't unbearable. that's the deal. and yeah, close to five grand. IN PARTS. I've got almost everything priced out, it's four grand at the moment, i might cut a thing or two, or get more expensive s**t. i've got a little headroom, but it might be very close, or i might not be able to. all in all, it should be fun. if i don't make it, oh well, i got a decently fast car lol.

Dude, lay off that crack pipe homie. If you want to beat it in horsepower then you won't be beating it in gas mileage. I have no idea why you want this but I say just buy a SRT4 because you seem very obsessed with them.

ummm you sure?? my brother had a stock SRT4 and we raced a 95 civic with a boosted LS making 220whp (watched it do it on the dyno) and we WALKED it horribly a few times...but yea i thought power to weight worked differently too

but yea its gonna take more than 5 gs to make the sohc faster....but not much....all i know is good luck

That's because your brother didn't race me and I only have like 186hp. Would've walked his ass no prob

more hp and better gas mileage is definately possible. i get 35 mpg on the highway on my 613whp 1.9 liter gsr motor. thats def better than an srt4.

a boosted d16z6 1.6 liter is still a 1.6 liter.

Yes, I know this but when you're boosting. How's the gas mileage then? When I'm boosting I can see the gas needle go down. You're s**t is probably tuned very well but why the hell would you drive your 613whp monster on the road anyway. It might be street legal but not streetable I would imagine. A good friend of mine had a all 250whp crx and it was street legal but not streetable what so ever.

honestly aside from the twin disk clutch its runs very smooth. with the 10point cage going in its not gonna be very practical though. u say why drive it on the street....i say why build a car u wont drive on the street?

i meant capable gas mileage and if u think about it that srt4 under boost will be consuming a lot of gas too more than the d16z6 turbo. of course under boost i consume a lot more gas 1000cc injectors 98% duty cycle u do the math haha.

to the op i say KISS, u have a goal to meet and u are on a budget. do u want to beat the srt4 or make 230whp, thats about a 60-70whp difference.
