O yeah? What do I need to do to go to 10-15 psi????JDM Juice said:Yeah you can run a 10-15 PSI boosted D16 easier than you could a B16... there's a couple tricks you can pick up from using stock parts... never underestimate the lil bro, he'll grow up to be stronger and faster than you could wish to be. I want to turbo soon, but it'll take a couple months now (running the Y7/Y8 mini-me at the moment)... surprised a couple LS Integs
Good job on the boosted D16 y0!!
About 6000 euro's including cat. back exhaust system, gauges, mounting everthing by the tuner, etc. Whole setup of turbo. But in the US it should be cheaper. I had to import everything from the US and from Japan.boricuacvc said:ur civic is TIGHT!!! how much did all that cost you? also, will something like that work on an auto tarnny? wifey drives my car, and she wont drive stick. gotta stay auto.
There's a combination of head gaskets that you can use to lower the compression on the D-series motors... from 9.6:1 (EX) to somewhere around a more boost friendly 8.6:1-8.8:1ahoffman said:O yeah? What do I need to do to go to 10-15 psi????
I have to rebuild my engine and replace some parts, don't know all the english words though. It costs pretty much to make the engine bullet proof. But than it would have about 280 bhp they say and it still would be very reliable.
Can't wait to boost it some more....
